Chosen Solution My monitor recently have a crack on it and I am thinking if I can change my monitor from FHD to QHD? Anyone have tried this before? I haven’t, but I did replace my QHD and it worked great. I suspect you can, it is unlikely they used a different board. I think worst case would be no port for the touch, I just find that highly unlikely. Go for it....
Chosen Solution So I purchased a new hard drive because the last one was broken (couldn’t get past the white screen with the apple logo) I got the seagate momentus 7200 750 gb 7200 rpm Sata 3 gb 16 mb cache 2.5 inches I put it in using the repair manuals, and then I booted from my recovery disk, followed the directions but when I got to the step that ask where I want to install osx nothing appears as an option....

Chosen Solution My sister gave me her old apple watch series 0 (original). I tried charging it and it starts boot looping instantly. I just get the apple logo, it disappears, apple logo, disappears, you get the point. It also stops as soon as i take it off the charger. I think it needs a new battery but i just want confirmation. Chosen Solution I’ve got whirlpool top load washer that still making a banging noise at the end of the spin cycle and only at the end of the spin cycle. It started doing this about 2 weeks ago. After researching, I figured it was the agitator drive block. I changed out the drive block and yes, the old one was all chewed up. I installed the new one exactly like the old, making sure tabs are flush etc....
Chosen Solution Previously, I broken a LCD connector: Are LCD FPC connectors that fragile? The result is that my screen was no longer displaying correctly. However, I managed to make it work again. It seems to be a contact problem. To recover the use of the screen, I did not have to put pressure on the broken part of the connector where the pins are visible (it was ineffective), but rather on the black part of the ribbon cable just before the connector....
Chosen Solution I dropped my phone and the screen is completely black. There is no sound or coming from the device. Phone however gets hot when I charge and itunes is able to recognize it. I can put it in dfu mode and such. No water damage. Most likely the board was damaged in the drop. The fact that its heating up tells me that one of the power IC’s was either damaged or fell off....

The display was a bit loose a while ago.there are no cracks or damages on the screen.I gave my phone to a repair shop so they can apply glue and fix the loose screen but ever since that this black spot appeared on my screen. Was it caused because of glue getting between the screen or is it some other reason? my phone was not dropped down or hit anywhere as well....

Not sure if I should keep it or try repairing it, I just don’t know what the problem could be. Someone told me my LED screen may be bad and you can’t buy replacements, is that correct? Chosen Solution Hello I have started experiencing bluetooth range issues on my note 3 where I can’t move the phone more than 2.5 ft and in direct line of site from whatever bluetooth device I’m connected to otherwise it will lose signal, if I move the phone closer within say 5 seconds the signal is re-established. If I wait too long the connection is lost all together. I have tried flashing multiple different roms and multiple different versions of the firmware for the bluetooth radio....
Chosen Solution There’s a common issue with N5 where the power button causes the phone to bootloop. I’ve stripped it down, but I’m unsure what to do with regards to fixing this issue. I’ve been quoted £30 to fix the power button, but I’m not sure if this will fix the issue. The problem is with the physical button on the motherboard, which is just not so well designed, because dirt can get stuck into it....
Chosen Solution It boots just fine with the top screen disconnected but it’s dead with a blue light when the screen is connected. I’ve been trying to work out what is wrong with this thing all day, there is no visible damage to the screen, ribbon or the connector on the board, but for some reason, it just will not work. Chosen Solution Display fell out while installing a hard drive . Pinns broken on motherboard connector and vertical sync cable broke on display side. Don’t know where wire go. Can I get a new connector and a ne sync cable? Photos attached. @kennyz55 connector J9001 is a Molex 53780-8606 ‘‘1.25mm Pitch Wire-To-Board Connector Wafer Assembly for SMT 6 Circuits Right Angle Emboss T/R CN3 appears to be a Molex as well but you will have to measure the distance between the pins etc....
Chosen Solution when shutting down my phone it goes into a BSOD (blue screen of death). Also, the screen is non-responsive. However the screen is not damaged. I have already drained and calibrated the battery In recovery mode, performed ‘update’ In recovery mode, performed ‘restore’ none of the above seemed to have corrected the issue, any suggestions? I hate to replace the screen as there is no physical damage. Im not sure if it is software or hardware issue....
Chosen Solution Recently Ive been repairing a 3DS replacing the screen when feeding cables throught the hinge the camera cable snaped. putting together the ds with out the camera pluged in, it charges but when I turn it on it flashes the 3D light green once and go’s off is this due to the camera not being pluged in? Now when we try to turn it on the power button lights up a few seconds but then goes off. When we attempt to charge, the LED charging light lights up as if charging, but the computer won’t come on at all. The screen does nothing. The computer does nothing....
Chosen Solution I have replaced the battery on my macbook pro. Everything goes well except that the computer suddenly shuts down when the battery reaches 3%. Instead of going into sleep mode, it just shuts down and will restart the system when turned back on, instead of getting off sleep mode. I tried both the PRAM and SMC reset without success. Any hint? Update (05/18/2021) clearly something is wrong. Two days back according to coconut the health of the battery was 95% after 4 cycles, and the charge capacity was already less than the declared 8600mAh....
