Chosen Solution My current display on my 2010 imac 27” model become discoloration on edges, but I do have a good working display removed from 2011 model, can I replace it with this model (by switching the display/video cable from the display panel)? Any thoughts? Thanks, @lovecd the 2010 uses an LG # LM270WQ1(SD)(C2) panel and the 2011 a LG # LM270WQ1 (SD)(E3) You’ll have to check the data-sheets to see if there are wiring differences on the connector....

Chosen Solution How can I remove it? if not DIY, how much is the parts? Before you replace the lad try rubbing it out. I fixed my screen by starting on the middle of the line and rubbing to the edges it doesn’t happen right away but each time I used it more of the line was gone I only rubbed it a few minutes at at time. It took a few days of this till the line was gone but it was worth it....

Chosen Solution I found a fairly helpful tutorial on replacing a faulty driver on these headphones. The question comes down to adhesive. What this guy used in his repair is not available in the US. It is a latex based adhesive, but I am not really sure how much the actual adhesive base matters here. I would like an adhesive that can be removed in the future with a little bit of heat (like say a hot hairdrier) in case I ever need to replace the drivers again....

Chosen Solution I’m repairing an iPad Mini 4 display that had the home button ripped out. The new display didn’t come with a home button pre-installed so I ordered one. I’m struggling with how to line up the actual home button with the rubber gasket. Are there any guides or videos that would help with this? Chosen Solution My back light is not working. It got kicked one day and stopped working. how do you know the backlight isn’t working? It could be a video problem. Or maybe the whole unit is dead. If you can’t see video when shining a flashlight onto the screen then it isn’t a backlight issue.

Chosen Solution How do i reset my bios password on fujitsu lifebook a555? I have forgotten the password. The most universal way to reset a bios password is to unplug the CMOS battery. It usually looks like a little coin battery with two wires coming out of it, just unplug it for say, I dunno, a minute or so and plug it back in. This should clear the password (and everything else in the bios will go back to defaults so make sure to adjust stuff back you’ve made any tweaks)

Chosen Solution boot manager not showing both ssd drive and bootable pendrive. i was previously having 128GB SSD, bought a new SSD (500GB) and fixed into the Macbook pro. i also made a bootable USB to reinstall my OS X Yosemite when i power the Macbook and i press the the option key i only get to see the Recovery Disk, i can’t see both the bootable pendrive and the SSD in the startup manager....

Chosen Solution 2009 Tribeca limited - both headlights are dim. I have been told it is rare for both to go out at same time but after reading about the headlight issues I am not sure, parts store wants to sell me the lever but if it is the bulbs I don’t want to waste money on lever and installation. Kelly Brunner it would be unusual but at this point it is best to go ahead and change the bulbs....

Chosen Solution the whole right side of the screen is broken Hi @black777 , It is usually cheaper to buy a new TV than to replace the screen, (if you can find one that is). You could try removing the back cover from the TV and finding the panel part number on the back of the screen and try searching online using the number. The best option is to try and sell your TV as faulty good for parts -broken screen to recoup some of the cost towards a new TV....

As long as the transceiver ring around the ignition lock is not damaged , you can buy a new Ignition lock with 2 keys, and either tow it to ford to have the keys programmed or have a lock smith program them....

Chosen Solution nikon coolpix b500 power button will flash green for a second when pushing the button but will not stay green and camera will not turn on I had this problem i changed my batteries to brand new ones and it turned on. Hope this helps. :) The Nikon CoolPix B500 is a current model, perhaps a known issue with this model. I would recommend a warranty repair, chances are Nikon will ship you a new camera as it’s less expense for Nikon at times than an actual repair....
