If you do then the backlight needs repair. I was just able to fix mine! Honestly, I ordered a logic board the first time from online, and it didn’t fix the problem....

It happens that in the process of removing the battery I ripped off a bit of the wrap envolving it. I already searched for a solution but didnt found it so here I am. The closest I found was people puncturing the batteries and they starting smoke but thats not the case....
Chosen Solution Hello all. Just purchased this battery from ifixit, and swapped the battery on this Mac a few days ago. After install I noticed first that the computer wouldn’t turn on without the power adapter. Once it was connected the computer powered on and immediately read 100% charge. After a few hours of use the battery dropped from 70-80% all the way to 7. I plugged in the charger and the laptop charged normally to about 30% and shot up to 100% immediately....

I practiced on another, identical, broken device, so was pretty familiar with the procedure when I got to the “real” phone. It seemed that all went well. This is the typical reason the light comes on. Each wheel has a sensor, and if anyone of them is faulty, the system will send the signal. Chosen Solution I got a brand new battery yesterday and installed it on my iPhone 7. Charged it to 100% and left it charged for another 2 hours per the battery care guide. Chosen Solution ifixit sent a replacement screen, i transferred over my old home button, installed the new screen, the screen works but now the home button does not work. I tried to connect and reconnect the home button connector several times but still the button wont work. i had to reinstall the button on my old screen and reinstall the old screen to get the phone working again. the button works great in the old screen so it is not the button itself....
Chosen Solution I HAV BROKEN THE golden pong on the side right below the ‘DO NOT REMOVE SCREW ’ ANY REPAIRS GUYS ? The Golden Prong needs to make contact with the metal bezel that rings the back case of the iPhone. Either solder or glue a piece of metal to the remnants of the Golden Prong so that there is contact to the bezel.

Hi Zarkex The first thing I would recommend is to take it to apple for a screen replacement. This will fix all issues assuming you can install the original screen back on the iPhone. Chosen Solution My calendar app always displayed by month, but suddenly it is only showing the days of the current week along the top of the screen EVEN THOUGH THE MONTH ICON IS SELECTED. The rest of the screen is available for entering many items in the Agenda. Before, I had the whole month showing above and a smaller rest of the screen for showing appointments. This suited me fine, but I can’t get it to go back to how it was, even though I have rebooted....
