Chosen Solution I’m running into an issue that just started this week. I was having lots of battery issues a few months ago, so I replaced the battery with the one purchased from here at iFixit around 4-5 months ago. All has been great since then until this week. I noticed that the battery percentage seems to be “stuck” on a certain value until I reboot the phone. I plugged it in last night with 23% left, and this morning it still said 23% despite the charge symbol showing....

Chosen Solution Hello iFixit community. I am having an issue with my Early 2015 13" Macbook pro. I installed a new iFixit battery using the iFixit guide with no issues at all. The battery worked amazingly and the computer was like new again. All of a sudden the computer wouldn’t charge and won’t recognise the battery anymore. The charger stays on orange and I cant use my laptop unless its plugged in with the charger....

Chosen Solution My Beats x are a few years old now and the battery no longer lasts more than an hour so I was looking to replace it with a new one. I spotted a seller online advertising a 300mAh battery. I believe the original is ~50mAh. It’s only a few bucks more to buy but I don’t see any reviews online of anyone doing it so I’m concerned that there might be a reason I shouldn’t....

Chosen Solution I have an HP 15.6 HD touch display laptop. About a year ago battery went bad. Forgot about it. Finally ordered a replacement. Got it today and put it in & charged it. The wifi light and power lights come on but screen remains black. I went thru a few steps offered on the hp website but nothing. Anyone have any ideas? Chosen Solution I have been using Bluetooth on my Dell Inspiron N5010 but yesterday, I realised the icon was no longer there. I have searched through out the laptop to find it but was unsuccessful. My phone detects it as Dell wireless 365 Bluetooth module when I deleted it and searched for it, but I can’t communicate with it. pls what should I do? Have a look under “msconfig” to make sure that the Bluetooth driver is still set to start up with Windows upon launch....

Chosen Solution I recently did a repair of the bottom screen, while doing so I probably damaged the digitizer since the touch screen wasn’t working anymore, so I bought a new digitizer and I replace it with the old one, but after this repair once I turned on the console the blue LED turned on for a few seconds, then when the backlight turned on the entire 3DS shuts off with a boop sound, I tried reseating every flat cable, but to no avail....

Chosen Solution Hi there, I Recently had a paper jam in my Epson Workforce 645 3-in-one printer which was given to me for free. After clearing the jam, i neglected to hold the two side springs together before pushing the paper jam panel back into place. I believe that I broke one of the white plastic “wheels” on the right side that “grabs” the paper from the paper try. I now have a permanent “paper jam” due to the misfeed....

Chosen Solution Hello! I have a string of C9 LED Christmas lights that are not working. I used a light pro device to test the electrical current going to each bulb and I believe I found the culprit. The electrical contracts were coming out of the socket! I tried putting them back in but that did not solve the problem. I touched the exposed contacts to the bulb wires (tried both sides) and that did not work either....

Chosen Solution The camera was in perfect working order. Playback worked and I could see through the viewfinder. But as soon as I put in a new tape, the camera recorded for 4 seconds and the caution light blinked and the footage glitched and shut off. Now the camera won’t respond when plugged in to the DC cable or with a battery. The battery has been tested and it’s good and my camera is in Standby mode....

I have checked all the possible causes mentioned in various posts and I even took it apart and put the hinge back together after cleaning the area with a q tip and a bit of alcohol. The key still does not work. What could it be? I see that in the middle of the housing is a little silicone cup....

Chosen Solution My little brother decided to “clean” the cartridge slot by pouring water inside of it and as expected the dsi died is it possible to switch out the mother board and power board along with the battery to fix it as the dsi wasn’t submerged in water? Hey, Did you tried to clean the PCB with isopropyl, maybe the board isnt dead… If its dead, you can try to replace it with another....

Chosen Solution I think its a 5700 series from 2014. The tv cycles off and on. it used to stay on for a few hours and now it does it after a few mins. I have 2 60 inch plasma hdtvs from same year with broken screens. they both got broken from stupidity. can I use any of the boards from these plama tvs to fix my led tv? andrew mclean you will have to give us all the model numbers....

So I see this is a general problem and that Apple fixed it in the new 10.15.5 update, but it just didn’t work for me. Still have no audio and it can’t find the output device....

Chosen Solution Recently dropped my iPhone 6 and the screen broke. Took it to a shoddy repair service across the street and in a couple of hours the phone was constantly looking for reception. The repair guy wouldn’t help me so I went back to the lab and unscrewed the screen. I get signal now and the problem is solved- at least for now. What might be the root cause behind the problem?...

Chosen Solution Zoom Out / ? Button is automatically pressed even without touching. When double pressed of pressed hard it keeps responding neatly for 5 mins tops. and after same problem. Do I have to replace the back panel key board or any repairs can done by myself? Please help me out. it is most likely that there is dirt or something causing the button to stop working or to start working randomly of it own accord....

Chosen Solution I have a 2008 24” iMac with a faulty Nvidia 8800GS GPU. I’ve fixed it twice by heating the GPU but I’d like to replace it since that’s not a reliable fix. I’d like to upgrade the GPU but the one it has is the best one the computer came with. I know that other iMac GPUs can be upgraded to ones from gaming laptops but I’ve never seen anyone do a 2008 iMac....

Chosen Solution Hello All, I’m looking to replace the lower mid-frame on my new 3DS XL as some of the screw holes were broken and needed to replace it , but the mid-frame I obtained does not bring a digitizer attached to it and was trying to find out how I could remove the digitizer off of my old mid-frame as it has no flaws or scratches and re use it on the new mid-frame I purchased but I cant seem to find a guide or steps on replacing it anywhere and don’t want to risk damaging it just trying to remove it....

Chosen Solution So with iOS 11.3.1 release all non genuine batteries (and it appears genuine ones are sometimes affected) no longer show battery usage information I asked a few retailers if they could tell me if their batteries would work with iOS 11.3.1 Here is a reply I got from one seller. “Hi mate, i have been told , my batteries can be updated firmware in 2 weeks, if you message me in 2 weeks, it will be compatible to iOS 11....
