Chosen Solution The power button on my Surface Book is permanently depressed; it won’t “spring back”. So, I can’t power on my computer. Using a butter knife, I was able to pry open the bevel where the power and volume button sits, and am able to turn on my computer in this way. I chatted online with a Microsoft support person, then called support twice, then took the Book into a Microsoft Store, all with the same result - I need to pay $599 to receive a refurb tablet to replace the one with the broken power button....

Chosen Solution So I was getting “unrecognizable disc” errors with all my games, so like anybody with some safety-bit torx drivers I took my ps4 (1215a) apart for a deep clean. Alcohol swabbed the bluray lens and slapped it all back together after removing ~2yrs of dust, and the drive will read the discs again. But it revs up, then immediately spins down. Then repeats, like a kid stepping on and off the throttle....

Chosen Solution Late 2013 27" iMac I have some severe health issues and was forced to move into a house that would be more conducive to my situation. While moving my brother walked out to his truck to get the last of my things (it was getting dark) someone was in the process of trying to steal my 2013 27 inch iMac. When they saw him they took off running and dropped my iMac on the front seat of his truck which ultimately fell in the ground and cracked the screen....

Chosen Solution I have one that is stumping me. iPhone 6, a1549, won’t register on any network no matter what SIM I use. Tried using a VZW, ATT and Sprint SIM and it wouldn’t activate. Popped in a Tmo SIM and it activated. OK…so its a Tmo. I pop a Tmo SIM in with active service and it won’t register on the network. Tried rebooting, reinstalling, banging it on the counter, all the usual steps....

Chosen Solution So when I Press the on button, the laptop will turn on and display the Acer loading screen it will then go black and turn off and continue like that turning on and off again? I don’t know how to fix it. It is a fairly new model so there is not possible way of removing the battery without taking the laptop to pieces you can press F2 on boot to enter bios, the go to the last menu an select defaults, hope this helps....

Chosen Solution Hi all! I replaced my iphone 6 battery. No issues. Battery life is great now. I got an offer to upgrade to an Iphone 7 as long as I trade in my iphone 6 as long as it’s in great condition. Turns on, no broken glass, no major scratches. I’m good on everything, except that I replaced the battery. They would have to open the phone to see the battery....

Chosen Solution my zenpad froze when i was playing a game , them the screen when black i can see it the back light but still black. i need to know if there is any way to fix it [Future reference] I had the same issue. The Zenpads don’t use the standard power+vol. up reboot method, but if you hold power + vol. down, it should put you into a reboot screen after a short bit....

Chosen Solution My expansion port is loose and it seems the wiring on the connector is damaged, I thought or using aluminum as a quick fix. Would like to know how that might go. Hi! I don’t think that aluminium will fix your problem, there is a chance you break it even more if anything shorts out it there… The best way to fix that loose port it either by re-soldering the contact so the board or by replacing the whole board....

Chosen Solution I was wondering can I use a zip tie to replace the heatsink pin that broke off? or can I use the other side two corner pins to keep the heatsink on and just take off that three pin? i think to support the longevity of your mac, you should buy a replacement as the zip tie could rub the other components and possibly mess with them or damage them....

Chosen Solution I can advance songs and pause music from the remote earbuds, but the +/- button does not adjust the volume They could be dirty- soaking isopropyl alcohol or spraying compressed air might do the trick Just open the cover of the remote and adjust the position of the metal piece inside. I did it on my iPod shuffle 3rd gen earphone(without mic) and it works well again. But I doubt that would it be more complicated when you do it on the earphone with mic....

Chosen Solution my Logitech K220 keyboard is automatically typing out “a” . I have already opened it dusted it a few times and it still it is no good . I hope someone helps , Thank you Is the “a” key lower than any of the other keys? If not, make sure no dust has gotten in between the sheets of plastic used for the contacts.

Chosen Solution the power light on the side stays orange while the light on the power button blinks blue. I re-adjusted the battery but nothing. Please help me out someone! Have you tried unplugging the power, removing the battery, pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds? Sometimes a blinking power button means that it’s charging the battery. Sometimes blinking lights might even indicate a hardware failure (for instance, a failed battery, or damaged motherboard, or some other issue)....

Chosen Solution Drove my Honda accord 1997 to the store when I tried to start the car it was dead. Checked the battery checked the starter both are OK cars lights go on but it doesn’t turn over or start please help Same thing happened to my 97 accord a few weeks ago. I replaced the starter and the battery under warranty. Everything pointed to the starter being bad. Turns out just by luck I started looking around the engine compartment and at a glance I happened to see that the negative battery cable had broken in 2 where it connects to the transmission....
