Also Is it the front camera having issues or the back? There could be an issue with the camera connector of the replacement screen to the connector of the Logic board. If it was working just fine previously and there is no water damage then you probably just need a new screen....

Chosen Solution On my 1995 Altima it did shortly from taking off from a stoplight. Just stalled out. Shortly after it started for a bit, was running roughly and I had to tap on gas a lot to keep it running, then when j tried to take off, it stalled out and died again. I have not installed the knock sensor I currently had right now. Got it, just hasn’t got it in in time....

Chosen Solution I pulled the wire too hard and pulled the pins out of it. What is this cable for? Can it be fixed by putting the pins back? How much does the refaction cost? Where can I buy it? Chosen Solution My dad’s 2014 Nissan Pathfinder recently started having what we beleive are transmission issues. as we attempt to accelerate it feels like the transmission is “slipping”, or put differently the car starts to shake a bit and it feels like power is not being applied to the wheels. we think its transmission related because when we put it in D or R it takes a moment and the car is almost like it’s in neutral before power is applied to the wheels....

Chosen Solution Replaced the iphone 8 screen and 3d touch is totally unresponsive. Took the screen back off, checked all the connections, and it still won’t respond. All the iPhone Pentalobe Screws to date for the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5 require the same Pentalobe Screwdriver.

Chosen Solution My screen is blacks out but still I can understand that the computer is still running. With support of a flash light I can see my computer profile Picture. Sometimes the screen will be OK by itself sometimes it work properly when I touch or wipe the screen with my hand. Shall request for a replacement of my computer. Chosen Solution Hello community of iFixit, I’ve a problem with my Asus laptop model x501a.. I can’t enter the BIOS because the laptop give me a blue screen and stucks on it.. Can someone help me please? Thanks! I would try using another pc and downloading the bios firmware and tool to reflash the bios. If you can’t get that far I would suggest taking the laptop apart carefully and look for the button cell battery cr2032 and remove it for a couple minutes, then replace and put the laptop back together....

Chosen Solution Back button does not show light and not responding to touch. Recent tab key pad is working with light on although my screen is broken but working perfectly. Sounds like it needs a new Charging flex as this is where the Back&Recent buttons are located on this model. If you feel you are competent enough you can follow the guide below and attempt it yourself. Although this is risky as the LCD is held on with fairly strong adhesive and since its already cracked there is a high chance of completely breaking it upon removal....

Chosen Solution What would cause the back camera to not focus. This could be caused by a few things. First thing I would do is an iTunes backup and then a factory reset to see if it still has that problem. If it persists, that would imply that it is a hardware issue, and you can do a restore without worry. Rear cameras for the iPhone 6 Plus, even OEM ones, are cheap on eBay....

Chosen Solution I recently took off the back case to dust off the fans, all went well. Now, i’m opening it again to do a more thourough job, and it seems as if the back case is stuck to a piece of metal. When i pry it up after pulling back and releasing the clips i can see a metal thing stuck to the inside of the back case. Macbook still works, any idea what could be happening?...

Chosen Solution iPhone 6s Phone came in not charging. Replaced port twice and does show that it’s charging but never increases percentage. Replaced the battery, same issue. Will now randomly shut off as it seems as though the batteries aren’t connecting thus the possible reason we aren’t seeing an increase in percentage. Maybe there is something wrong with Power chip… Did u tried to DFU and restore the phone to iOS10....

Chosen Solution While changing my both camera on my iPhone x I ripped the black film that is wrapping the battery. Am i damage the cell ? Because i see the green parts. Can i use it just for test the both camera ? I wouldn’t use that battery period, even for a test. Why did you remove the battery entirely for a camera repair?

Chosen Solution I was having an issue with my computer not starting properly, so I did a bios update, and that fixed everything. The issue now is every so often, about once in 2-3 boots, all my boot devices will be missing and in the bios, it tells me to go to advanced > boot > csm to make sure the proper devices are enabled. THing is no change in the settings fixes it....
