Chosen Solution I sent my N5 to LG for repair but they sent it back unrepaired. The only info they would tell me is a board is bent. They won’t tell me if its the motherboard or daughterboard. I’ve seen new motherboards for sale online. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this sort of repair? Same thing here. They didn’t even call me to notify me they weren’t going to repair it....
Chosen Solution Boots up and display on a external monitor. Laptop screen is completely white. Installed new screen and same thing. Jim Teel, this is usually caused by your backlight working, but not receiving any data. This could be an error on your LVDS connector as well as your LVDS cable, your LCD panel or even your motherboard. I suggest that you run the built in LCD test as described on hereAlso, try an external monitor and see what you get on that one during start up....

I have tried every which way to get the status monitor to work with no results. I double click the icon on the desktop, and a little busy wheel turns but nothing happens. Chosen Solution canon powershot sx70 hs …when in use it shuts off suddenly witout indicating low batteries. the lens stays outside If the battery is old it might be near its end of life and drop from the warning level to the turn off level very fast So my PowerShot sx70hs screen went green and it just shut off this happened about month ago where I recharged the battery and it worked....

I am running Wifi through a home that contains 4 separate apartments. I first made sure that I was static-free. Upon opening the laptop, I disconnected the battery with a plastic tool and started to remove the old HDD. Chosen Solution I replaced the battery on my 7Plus but now 3D Touch doesn’t work. Touch ID and home button are fine. Any ideas? It is possible that you may have knocked the home button connection loose, Try reconnecting it , but I would first recommend trying a hard reset by holding the sleep/wake button and the volume down until you see the Apple logo. If that doesnt fix it, make sure your battery is properly seated as well....
Chosen Solution when I open the screen just to change the battery the flat screen of the touch id does not work, aesthetically it seems not to have suffered damage but the strange thing is that it does not always happen even if I open the screen the same way, it happens also to someone else? I repeat that the flat screen is damaged NOT the home button. It’s usually a tear on the screen cable for touch ID and 3D touch (Not visible unless you remove the metal back plate that is screwed behind the screen....

In one case the plastic was blue so it was easy to notice (but got overlooked anyway), and in the other it was semi-transparent as I suspect yours is....
Chosen Solution Bought a headset from a friend. cable leading to the HDMI and USB split was badly twisted some how and I believe there is a broken wire. Any suggestions? PC identifies headset, and I am able to get sound and tracking. But no visuals within the headset itself. @p5ychojoe13 use a sharp box cutter (razor blade etc.) then gently cut a lengthwise slot into the out insulation only. You can now either pull the inside wires out of the insulation or cut the insulation away....

Make sure it is your drivers that are at fault and not your speakers. Check by using a pair of headphones. If the sound there is clear its mot likely your speakers

For iPhone 7, the backlight module contains a backlight (obviously), the 3D Touch sensor, and the Touch ID cable....
