Chosen Solution I have a Lenovo T440s Model 20ARS0BH00 with 4GB Ram soldered and an 8GB Ram stick in the single slot of the mainboard. On some boot ups the laptop recognizes only the soldered 4GB and on other boot ups it recognizes the full 12GB. I have swapped the RAM stick in case it was damaged, but that did not help. Has anyone experienced this problem? I love this laptop, but a full mainboard swap would cost too much for a 5yo laptop....

Chosen Solution My Iphone 6 has a horribly weak connection with my house wi-fi. Unless I’m in the same room with it, it looses connection. I’ve used this wi-fi network for a long time and it’s never been like this until few days ago. My other family members using the same wifi has no such issues. I’ve tried turning off and back on the wifi settings, turning my phone off and back on, disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi, switching off my router and putting it back on, and resetting the network settings but nothing worked....

Chosen Solution Hi, I replaced a smashed screen for a customer, and after I put it back together, the camera app is now stuck on the shutter. Could I have damaged the front or rear camera or connectors? I have checked the connections many times, but no luck. Chosen Solution I sent an Apple Watch Series 3 A1858 gps, non cellular to Apple for repair. The Apple logo comes up when I do a hard reset but disappears when I let go. On the charger it shows an Apple. It was never paired with a phone, or on my Apple account. It was given to me by my friend. Apple wouldn’t tell me anything besides the screen and outer casing are great....

Chosen Solution 2006 ART tube preamp no lights come on with either phantom power or a proven 9 volt AC power source can this be a symptom of a bad tube? thanks! @paulbiere probably not. I suspect the tubes are audio tubes driving the amp but not the power. If you have no sign of life start looking at the power supply/circuit. Disassemble it using this guide Art Tube MP AMP 12 AX7A Tube Replacement and take a look for obvious damaged components, lose wiring etc....

Chosen Solution Got a Mac Book Air with with water damage and no backlight I’m helping someone diagnose remotely. Board number is 820-3437 It has 8.5 volts in and out of the Inductor/Coil L7701, just not getting boosted. Continuity through the coil, but reading 0.0 ohms, – verdict it is shorted. Problem now is finding a replacement part. It’s rated 15µH - 2.8A, but i’m having trouble finding one that rating that would fit, by his estimate its 5mmx5mmx3mm....

Chosen Solution How can I repair or if I can repair the camera when the batteries were left in the camera coolpix l330 and they oxided You can clean the battery alkaline leaks with white vinegar on a cotton swab. If the battery was removed shortly after leaking then the amount of alkaline residue should be small and not too much damage to the contacts. The cotton swab should be damp and not dripping wet, the vinegar acids will neutralize the alkaline residues....

Chosen Solution My alienware 13r2 battery died, so I replaced it with one from BattPit (you can find them on amazaon). Now when I turn on my laptop there’s an error message: the battery cannot be identified … etc… wont charge. My question is: does my laptop need a genuine Dell battery? Or can I somehow get this one from BattPit to work? @zdan could be your charger, your BIOS or a bad battery....

Chosen Solution I watched a video by iFixit on changing the battery. The girl in the video took off an antenna contact and put it aside. What does that contact do? On the video she does not show her replacing it. I have not yet done so yet the phone functions receiving a message. It is a bugger to replace [with arthritic fingers]. Hi I believe the contact is for grounding purposes All you have to do to put it back on and align the hole with where the screw goes back in then plug your battery back in on top of the antenna So the screw should go through the metal bit on the battery connector and go through the little metal loop on the antenna If you need any more help just ask Hopefully this helps Thanks:-)

Chosen Solution My Wii is outputting black and white video to my Vizio TV. Original cable, and the audio works perfectly. It’s not the DVD drive becuase it used to put out color on my old Toshiba. How could I fix this? Not a definate answer but replace the wii ?

Chosen Solution My 42LE5400 LED LG tv turns on, I see the LG logo and the picture comes and looks fine but after about 5-10 seconds the screen goes black and the audio stays on. If I shine a flashlight on the screen I can see the picture, so the back light must be shutting down. I can’t see it being the led’s as it comes on and works fine at the beginning(maybe i’m wrong)....

Chosen Solution Just yesterday, the screen suddenly went blank. Connected to external monitor, evrything seems normal. Today morning, when I put it on, screen was magically working again. Then after 2-3 minutes it went blank again. The logic board on this macbook was replaced two weeks ago (due to some liquid spill). Is it possible that some cable is loose inside? Even though, It’s less than a year old, I can’t take it apple because the liquid spill voided the warranty....

Chosen Solution After trying the famous GPS fix on my LG G5, I have snapped off one of the three small golden connectors that are actually for the volume rocker buttons. What the !&&* do I do now?! It came loose while the phone was closed, so I have no idea where it’s gone. Can you buy these parts? can I re-create a new one?
