I had same problem with my phone, and I know that the Iphone won’t turn on if there is no screen (or if the screen is too damaged and doesn’t work), and by replacing the screen it could make your phone work normally....

Chosen Solution Some manufacturers deliberately program the battery circuit to destroy itself if the battery cells were to be disconnected. They do that to have a monopoly on original batteries and rip consumers off. Has anyone tried to replace the 18650 cells and had success? For me it did not work, and I made no errors in replacing them. My box behaves as if no battery is connected (sometimes noisy sound telling me “critical battery” and such only while plugged into USB)....
Chosen Solution 2003 XJ8 main steering rack is leaking power steering fluid. Can leak be fixed without replacing the steering rack? I believe this can be done but you will need to find a specialist and probably will have to remove the steering rack or have it removed and bring it too them for diagnosis and repairs. Sometimes, if it isn’t overly worn, it can be thoroughly cleaned and seals as well as some internal parts replaced to restore functionality and eliminate the leaks....

Chosen Solution While moving, my tv fell off the TVs stand onto the carpeted floor, separating the top frame from the screen. TV is still operational but the screen is distorted. There is no visible cracks in the screen. Is this something that can be repaired? kml10205 going by your description this may just be a broken display. That would be a tough fix since replacements are almost impossible to get....

Chosen Solution Macbook A1342 started with original 2GB of RAM, I decided to go big and try to get 16 to work (reportedly, the machine can handle it). Ordered 2 8GB sticks —specs match exactly—. If I install both 8GB sticks, the machine will not boot up and makes a single beep every 4/5 seconds. If I put one of the old 1 GB RAM sticks back in (for a total of 9GB), the machine works fine (actually, so much better than with the original 2 GB)....

Chosen Solution Just shut down. The screen now displaces a LOCK symbol in black, a picture of a battery in black and the time it froze. Tried conventional reboot methods to no avail. Also no luck in hooking it up to computer. Any ideas? There’s a black wire attached to the board where does the other end go to Hi, This link may be of some help in solving your problem, if you can read a wiring diagram that is. It some how got set to floor model/show room mode.
Chosen Solution Someone tripped on the wire, snapping the hdmi part nearly off. Now it receives power, but cannot output sound or video. Is there anyway I can repair this? Its a mild long shot, but probably what happened is some of the connections have come loose from the board inside. I bet it broke from the left side, leaving the right side connected as that where the power is. First you’ll have to crack it open and see how bad it looks inside....
