Chosen Solution So I got a brand new screen for an iPhone 6s with a cracked screen, which turned on and worked before replacement, it was just cracked. However, after installing the new screen, it won’t turn on, but I know the phone is on because I can hear the plug/unplug noises, and the switch for silent makes the phone vibrate. I also know that the home button works because the hard reset combination(hold Home key and On/Off Key) causes the plugin noise to be made after a few seconds, during which I’m assuming it reboots....

Chosen Solution Hi all. I’ve gutted a 27” iMac that suffered the near-universal GPU failure, and I’m converting it into a monitor with a cheap LCD-driver board from eBay. Instead of a likewise cheapo PSU and inverter, I’m trying to use the original Apple ones. I found a pinout of the PSU’s output connector, but don’t know what some of the abbreviations mean or their function. Can anyone help? I don’t have the motherboard to trace anything back to, so that’s not an option....

Chosen Solution My hdmi wont work and i tried contacting Microsoft support but they wont do anything about it even though i bought it 2 months ago HDMI Encoder chip is most likely faulty. If the port visually looks fine with the pins then you need to get the console fixed by Microsoft under warranty. The console stays on right and does not shut off by itself? If they are giving you the runaround you may want to take it to a local reputable console repair store to get it fixed....

Chosen Solution Yesterday I wanted to print a letter I wrote - composed it where I do my emailing. tried to print it but got this message: “Some printing functionality is not currently available” I copied the letter and pasted in my Word which did print it. I emailed Epson and they sure did not answer my question - what happened and how to fix it. I tried unplugging the printer for 5 mins and plug in again but nothing but same message....

Chosen Solution My calculator says “Waiting… Please Install Operating System Now”, and when pressing any button it says “Error! Press any key to turn unit off. Then turn unit back on”, then the process just repeats itself. I have tried to restart the calculator but it did not work. I also tried to download an OS from the TI website from my Mac to the calculator but it also did not work....

Chosen Solution When the key is turned and held it runs, let go of key it stops Sounds a lot like a broken ignition barrel. It should spring back to rest when released, not go all the way back to off. Try another ignition.

Chosen Solution New thermostat ,fan ok Is the engine actually overheating? If not, try replacing the temperature sensor. If the engine is overheating, try checking the coolant level. If it is low you have a leak somewhere. Add coolant if needed and service the cooling system.

Chosen Solution My wife rides a 2015 Vespa Primavera 150. Over the winter the battery went dead and will not hold a charge. Is there a battery upgrade from the standard acid battery? Like lithium ion or any other that you can think of? @americancj7 no because the charging circuitry would have to be different. In your case for now I’d replace the battery with a new one. It is most likely shorted out and thus does not hold a charge....

Chosen Solution there is a playlist on my ipod touch 3g (Christmas music) that has been deleted but the music from that playlist is still playing on my Ipod! I checked the Ipod playlists and the playlist entitled Christmas Music has been deleted but all the music from that playlist still plays on the ipod! I first deleted the playlist by plugging into my laptop and deleting it through iTunes. And this Christmas music that is still playing is not on any other playlist!...

Chosen Solution I have replaced the screen and front camera unit with new one I can use the front camera to click selfies but can’t use it with apps like WhatsApp or FaceTime Have you tried a hard reset or configurate your phone as new iphone a put back apps one by one? I have the same issue! Apple killed the front camera since iOS 13.4.1 and today there is no option to install iOS 13....

Chosen Solution I opened up my macbook pro for a clean and noticed some wires were cut except for one. I dont have any issues so Im wondering what these are for and if it is important to fix. Anyone familiar with this? These are coax antenna wires which go to the antenna assembly within the clutch cover and connect to the AirPort board You’ll need to take the display off so you can swap out the antenna assembly MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Early 2011 Display Replacement and here’s the part Unibody MacBook Pro 13" Antenna Slide off the clutch cover to get to it....

Chosen Solution Hello, Can i fit a at&t motherboard in a sprint galaxy s6 edge? I can’t think of any good reason why i wouldn’t, generally they would follow the same layout as they use the same antennas. That being said, the logic board of a Canadian Galaxy S3 will not fit in an American S3. I’d say it’s safe to try, Just make sure the midframes on each one have the same grooves and slots....

Chosen Solution Hi all In need of the back glass cover on a iphone 8 replacing, is it worth just replacing the whole back housing that comes complete with back glass cover, as I have seen it is a nightmare to remove just the glass. Sadly you do need to replace the entire case for a cracked glass back its easier for a diy project to replace the whole casing but its very doable to replace just the glass....

Chosen Solution For a while I had the impression that the battery was not correctly calibrated, because it shutdown at around 20%. Now it happened again today, but my Macbook won’t charge. When I connect the MegSafe Charger, the indicator does not light up at all. I don’t think it is a problem with the charger, because I tried it with a different one and it still does not charge. When I try to boot the computer, I can see the Mac logo and the progress bar starts is loading but then if goes off....

Chosen Solution I opened the case and got to the battery which a Youtube video identified as the problem. In my case,the battery (looks like a 2032, may not be but does look that way) seems to permanently attached to the motherboard. Any thoughts? @mlb_fixit it may have been soldered to the board. If you can see it I am certain it can be replacement. May not be the easiest but still possible....

Chosen Solution The other day, the bottom part of the digitizer started to stop working then two days later, the iphone shut itself down for no reason and won’t charge anymore. The iPhone can boot with charger pluged in but battery is not charging. Also, the battery status page in settings is saying that it needs to be replaced and don’t show any percentage of the battery life. 2 days before this battery problem, i checked it’s battery life and it was at 84%....

Chosen Solution I replaced the bluetooth/wifi antenna on the 4s. Wifi is still grayed out and bluetooth isn’t working. So I guess the part wasn’t the issue. Any thoughts on where i should look now? Did you replace the IC? Those are soldered on really tough. But it could be other things. Give me more info as to the repair you performed. You can also reflow the IC first and see if that works....
