Could the rod, from the clutch slave cylinder, to the clutch be in backwards? Seemed like it went in only 1 way. The push rod should only go in one way, the longer shank into the clutch “spring”, and the stubby nub into the bearing on the output cylinder....

Hey Piper, it is possible that the LCD connection is slightly loose, I would suggest disconnecting the battery, and then reseating the LCD connectors, and then connecting the battery. If this doesn’t work, it is possible the backlight in your display may have been slightly damaged, and will require a new screen to fix....
