Then I plugged it to a charger, and it started to beep (or vibrate in silence mode) every 10 seconds approximately....
Chosen Solution I was working on my laptop (MBA 13" 2012 w/Core i7 2Ghz) yesterday and suddenly there was a loud pop, dead screen. Thought it was a blown capacitor. Opened the back and found it immediately, see pic. Does anyone know why this would have gone? It looks like a voltage regulator circuit and there are many of these all over the board. Could it have been static discharge? It is very dry where I live....

Chosen Solution I have wiped it so there is nothing on it - uninstalled drivers and tried everything else I have read online. Can anyone help or fix this?! Google ‘blue screen of death windows’ and you will see what I am getting - and can no longer get anything else. I’ve managed to remove a broken headphone tip from phones and controllers by cutting the end off a Q tip/cotton bud and “screwing” the cut end onto the jack then slowly pull the jack out, It might take a couple of go’s....
Chosen Solution I have had this Maytag Bravos quiet series 300 dryer for almost 6 years. We have had to replace the heating element 4 times. There is only one drawback - there is a really annoying buzzing noise coming out of the speaker. This is not changed by the volume regulation and when you put in earphones the buzzing noise is coming over them as well and as loud as out of the speaker before....

No you cannot, the 27 inch cable is different from the 24 inch version. The connectors do not match, so you won’t be able to connect the cable internally.

The manual actually lists the 15-K and 17-K as having different part numbers, but they definitely look the same in pictures. Chosen Solution I was replacing a battery and when I was closing the phone, I realised I left a piece out. I had to disconnect the battery but the socket came off. I think it isn’t so bad as the phone powers on if I place the socket correctly and put some pressure on it, but I’m going to need help putting it back in. I have a lot of experience soldering but not with parts this small....

Chosen Solution A few months ago, I replaced by battery (from a third-party seller, not ifixit). It was working great, until recently, when it ran out, then was plugged in overnight and got stuck at 55%. Unplugging it and plugging it back in resulted in it very slowly charging up to 60%. It is stuck at 52% right now. I’ve tried a SMC reset, I’ve tried calibrating by fully discharging, and I’ve tried reseating the connector....
Chosen Solution Im stuck with black screen after booting. The keyboard lights and the front LED are on, nothing else. Powering on the laptop with pressing D starts the display test and it works so it is not a display issue. Let me explain how i got here.
