Chosen Solution Has sound but no picture Hi, Can you view the TV menu screens OK? With the TV on and audio heard, try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and check if there are any images visible. They will be very faint if they are there at all so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them. If there are images then there is a backlight problem in the TV....

Chosen Solution Hi! I recently replaced my friends iPhone 8 flex cable as the old one no longer worked, the battery still had some juice in it so i could boot. But after replacing the flex cable, it now boot loops. Disconnecting the connector makes the phone boot and connecting the old flex cable makes it boot as well. Chosen Solution I have a Lp156whb 15.6 inch screen that i want to put into a HP ProBook 450 g3, and it seems like it would fit but i dont know the consequences of using a different screen to the one it came with. Btw it came with a Lt156at30 screen. As long as the screws line up and the panel is a close match model wise, the G3 and G4 machines are usually easy to swap panels without concerning how closely matched the replacement is — it’s about the PINOUT matching primarily....

Chosen Solution My 3d touch isn’t working. This seemed to happen when I took off the screen. I noticed the screen was connected at a certain spot and didnt come apart much so i put it back on. Screen works fine, and so does the home button. Could something have gotten disconnected? Thanks Touch ID is very sensitive and it may be that the connection has been disrupted or damaged. As far as I know this is now something that can be put right without Apple....

Chosen Solution A black Line is showing on display It might be an issue with display if the phone display is damaged or felt down. If not reboot the phone and check. If nothing is working check the lines are swelling during charge if it swells your display panel needs to be changed.

Chosen Solution I was installing a replacement battery in my Apple MacBook Pro Retina 2016 with function keys, and after the install I noticed the tiny cable on the battery from the battery control board to the top of the battery has ripped. I’ve circled the cable in the image below. Does anyone know what the purpose of this cable is? Is it dangerous to keep using the device with this ribbon ripped?...

Chosen Solution After installing my lcd screen to my iPhone 1/pro max it is saying unknown part ? This is normal behavior and is another way for Apple to discourage people from repairing their own devices. A warning is displayed in the introduction of the iFixit guide for display replacement on this phone. If your phone is acting normally, you can safely ignore this warning. Keep in mind that Apple continues to make moves like this that hurt the repairability of their products....
