Is just the Shattershield available for sale (not the whole screen+digitizer) and how hard is it to replace? Display can easily be replaced, but it is very expensive. All of them are using 3M adhesive tape to attach LCD to aluminium body and to attach aluminium frame at the end of the replacement procedure. But there are hundreds of different models of 3M tape. They are different in thickness and strength (VHB models seems to be better and more expensive). Could you please tell me which ones can be used and which ones cannot be used for the procedure?...
Chosen Solution After a display replacement, I get horizontal lines on my phone’s new screen. The phone also has issues in dark conditions as the phone acts like it has 8 dimming zones. I was grounded during the display replacement ( Common Issue ). As the display is powered on the lines progressively turn from light grey to black. Chosen Solution Hi, The phone dropped into a toilet. And immidiate got out, and been dried with a fan. It was 1 week ago, and phone works fine but the screen is very dark, and it has no light! I barely see the icons.. But the incoming/outgoing phonecalls are working, also the touch. What is responsible for the Light in the screen? Chosen Solution cordless phone. All phones show out of range. Does base station still charge the phone docked there ? If not maybe the power supply has failed and the base radio has no power. If power is okay there then the base radio itself must be the problem. Check power supply voltage with multimeter against specs on power supply.
Chosen Solution I’ve done every possible thing you can do even jump started the fuel pump relay and the crank relay and jump started the starter Ive checked all fuses and even the ones I didn’t think we’re blown replaced all and relays and it still won’t do anything. When I get in and turn the key all lights come on but it will not turn over or make noise I’m at a loss THe Fuel pump relay still won’t cut on and I even replaced it too...
Chosen Solution My phone also has water damage, because the glass that goes over the 2 camera lenses on the back of the phone was cracked and some pieces completely missing from it and I dropped it in the bath tub. So I took the phone apart following the teardown on here I have everything but the front screen taken off because I have cracks in the corner…so if I take if off it will need a complete screen replacement....
Chosen Solution Got a used 15” Macbook Pro 2015 DG. Plugged it into a third-party charger, fans spin up and screen displays a battery icon with a little bit of red and a lightning symbol below it. No light on the magsafe connector. Shuts off after a few seconds. Same behavior when I power it on with just battery with the addition of a plug icon. I disconnected the battery and tried powering on with just the charger, but no change....

Chosen Solution Hi guys. I tried to install the new HIGH Sierra on my Mac Pro (Early 2009). I upgrade my video card for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2047MB. I did ALL updates like: Firmware 5.1 etc etc etc… When I try to install by pen drive in a HD SSD the new Sierra, my screen is black. I can’t see anything. Why? In another forum, I saw that’s installation will only install with the original video card....
Chosen Solution Alright guys. So I replaced a customers iPhone 7 Plus screen yesterday, pretty standard stuff. Took all the parts off his old screen and transferred them to a new screen. Seemed to be fine so I checked him out. He comes back into the store 5 minutes later and neither his front or back cameras show anything. Just black. The camera app fully loads and everything, just black. No errors or anything from the app....
Chosen Solution so, Hi, my iphone 5 after repear stop make a brightness more, its stop on a low level, so even if it’s different screen, he just done and idk how to fix it and nobody doesen’t no.. something inside a phone but what.. Check and make sure no jumpers on the logic board aren’t broken or missing. Try a soft reset, then a hard reset. Make sure the display connections are fully connected....

Or would i be better off replacing the original hard drive with a SSD and transferring my original drive to the optical bay as i have heard that there can be issues with placing a SSD in the optical bay?
