Chosen Solution My 2011 MacBook Pro is not charging though the light on the MagSafe is green. This is the latest instance of the problem that I first noticed about a month ago. Checking on the MacBook through Apple’s own System Information & 3rd party apps like coconutBattery indicate that the battery’s condition is normal & it has 118 cycles on it. The last time this happened I eventually noticed & got it to start charging when the laptop was completely powered off....

Chosen Solution My 97 Land Rover discovery starts acting up once it warms up….such as, misfiring, backfiring, no power, can’t go over 40mph down hill, barely goes 10mph up hill. After 40mph, when I push on gas pedal it does absolutely nothing. The same effect you’d have if You just weren’t pushing it at all. Once it drops below 40mph the gas pedal registers again…… Any suggestions? Sounds like one or both of your catalytic converters are plugged....

Chosen Solution If I cover the two microphones at the side of the Macbook, I can see audio is still being picked up. If I place my fingers tightly against the microphones, I can see it is still picking up sound and that isn’t simply interference from my fingers. I think you are covering the speakers. After trying to check it I opened it and tried with another screen which I knew was working. I am very carefull with the flex cables, but nothing happened! the screen was still black even though the phone could ring at play music etc. I am sure I didn’t made anything worse in the repair....

Chosen Solution Hi there! So I recently purchased a Gigabyte G5KD laptop (i5-11400H / RTX X3060P) - it’s just over a month old. I was watching Netflix in bed last night and all of a sudden the screen started rolling blurred grey streaks across it, then went black with nothing but these vertical lines appearing. Chosen Solution I did a digitiser and LCD repair on my iPad Air 3 and during the process got a couple drops of super glue inside (long story don’t ask, wasn’t even using super glue!). It was like a splatter and everything looks normal but it was working cause I had tested it and was just putting it back together when it happened. Now since then the screen has a black strip from too to bottom cover exactly the 3rd quarter of the screen....

Chosen Solution can anyone provide any assistance?!?! I have used this guide a few times now to successfully replace screens however I have an early 2011 17" MBP that now boots to a white screen and that is it, cannot boot in recovery or safe mode. It even turns off a few seconds after starting up. Any thoughts on what could be causing this issue? There seem to be no markings on this one at all… @krill based on the batteries on this one Repairing Hungry Cat Savings Bank Gear it would be a 3V DC motor. As for other specs, you can measure your motor and see about length and width etc. . Armed with that do an online search and see what you can come up with....

I have two original controllers and both work perfectly when connected to controller port 2, but if I connect to port 1, button 2 won’t work. Chosen Solution I’ve recently gone on holiday and I got my quest 2 out for 2 seconds to switch it off as I forgot and it kept going off in my bag but now there’s a yellow light in the lens and I think it’s Sun damage is there any way I can fix it by replacing the lenses The lens isn’t damaged, it’s the display.The light from the sun was focused onto the display by the Fresnel lenses, and Fresnel lenses are really good at burning stuff with the sun (you can look up a few videos on YouTube)....

Chosen Solution On the ribbon apparatus for the 160GB iPod classic there is a white plastic “box” behind the headphone jack. Can this be safely removed? Can the 160GB version of the jack be used on the 120GB version? The Headphone Socket is glued in. Review this guide iPod Classic Headphone Jack & Hold Switch Replacement. Apple made different ones for the different backs. You really need the correct one other wise its too loose or you can’t get the front to fit properly....
