Chosen Solution I have a BIOS password on my HP Zbook 17 G2, which I do not know the password for. Any ideas? It will not let me boot into a DVD or USB, and as such I cannot do a fresh install of Windows 10. I also cannot do dual booting either. Any ideas on how to get this rectified would be appreciated as these laptops are not cheap, and having a BIOS password is not ideal!...

After few days the customer sends me a picture msg showing the black dots on the display and complaining about the screen being unresponsive to touch. She also mentioned they had an otterbox defender case on it which I had recommended to buy not from my store....

Most common failure would be the backlight circuitry on your power board. Check the caps on the board. After that you want to check your T-con board and your backlight LED array. Again, we do need an exact model number. It will also help if you post plenty of good images of your boards with your question....

They work fine with my old MacBookPro but on my mid 2012 MacPro (where I would really like to use them) they miss about 1/4 second of sound every 2 seconds. Does anyone have any ideas? Any suggestion much appreciated! My wireless keyboard and mouse seem to work fine. Try doing a hard reset between them. Tell your macbook to forget the device, power off both devices....
Chosen Solution The camera works when the screen is open more than a 90º angle and if I adjust the screen angle it’s fine until it’s less than 90º, then it freezes and I either have to restart it or run sudo killall VDCAssistant. I’m on Sierra but I don’t think it would matter. I also did the permanent GPU bypass with the resistor so the defective dedicated GPU is inactive....

Looking at the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop, there is a sata slot and an M.2 slot for storage devices. Looking online at images of M.2 SSDs that are compatible with the laptop, the laptop’s M.2 slot may be keyed for B + M keyed devices....

Chosen Solution Hi! I replaced a screen on my Series 2 and now I can’t add any card to Apple Pay. I get a “Can’t set up Apple Pay” message with no additional info. All the flex cables are connected and I factory reset the Watch after screen replacement. I’m not sure if Apple implemented NFC lock (when you have to transfer NFC chip from the old screen to the new one) on Series 2 or it’s just a software bug....

I tried clearing the apps cache, resetting their settings and restarting my phone, but none of those attempts succeeded. My intend is to change the cable on all of them (the one that is going from the adaptor itself to the computer), two of them has the iBook charger plug, and the rest has Magsafe 1. Is it possible to change the cable to a Magsafe 2 cable, are is it not compatible? While I applaud efforts to recycle, there is a point when one does need to throw in the towel....

First I left it charging over night. the next day I started my MacBook Pro and I depleted it with normal use, during this I checked my battery health and it said 102% so I thought that’s great! at around 10% it suddenly turned off....

The OS says the battery is at 100%, but when the device is unplugged from power, it immediately shuts down. No battery indicator appears when I hold the power down for several seconds. Chosen Solution hi, i have a MacBook Pro a1211. after i replace my lcd with a new one, all i got is black screen. i see a light from bottom part. from that, i think the backlight is working, at least the bottom part. From what i learn from reading, the possibilities are i broke the inverter, either that or i toast the video card. from the way it looks. like there is power to lcd but no data(picture signal)....

Disconnect the power from the TV and then press and hold the TV Power On button for a full 60 seconds and then release it....
