Chosen Solution Since Apple has not changed the design of its laptops since I bought mine in 2016.Could I switch out the entire logic board to one that has a better CPU better GPU and more storage? Would it be possible? Would there be any side effects? Given the heavy integration RAM & storage and the issues with the older keyboard. I think it would be just cheaper and smarter just to sell your current system and just get a new one....

I would like to know from an expert if the iPad Pro 1st/2nd gen’s adhesive ALSO works with the iPad Pro 11" 3rd generation. If not, are there any alternatives for adhesive that is just as trustworthy? There are some minor discrepancies between the two, so it is definitely not an identical match. You may be able to adapt one to the other since the housing is the same overall footprint....
Chosen Solution I have already tried changing the RAM, and reseating the GPU. Everything lights up, fans, keyboard, mouse, ethernet. However I cannot get anything but a grey display and 5 beeps indicating the battery is low, I changed it 3 times all 3 times with brand new batteries and it has not worked once. Any help is appreciated, thanks. 5 beeps typically means there is a problem with the CMOS battery itself....

Chosen Solution how to repair ethernet port If possible use the built in wireless card to connect to your network. Sounds like your ethernet port got zapped by a power surge. I had that happen once when a surge came through the coaxial cable for my cable internet service. Any ethernet port that was in use at the time got zapped and was rendered unusable. I lost my cable modem, my Apple Time Capsule, and a NAS drive....
