Chosen Solution Hey everyone. I’ve recently tried repairing a cracked iPhone 6 screen by only removing the glass and glueing new glass on with loca glue. After putting the clean LCD in a special mold for glueing and applied some loca glue in a bone shaped form and putting on the glass, I hardened the glue with a little up flashlight. I thought it had hardened completely, so I put the frame on and assembled everything back together....

Chosen Solution so 1st things 1st. a few keys on my keyboard stopped working so i wanted to take out the keyboard for cleaning. after following the instructions in this HP 15-bs015dx Teardown teardown article, I mostly took apart my laptop. i started to remove the motherboard, before deciding that i should check to see if reseating the keyboard ribbon fixed the problem (it did). on the other hand my backlight didnt turn on....

Often times when devices are left sitting for a little while without being charged, the internal batteries voltage can drop below the threshold that allows it to charge back up normally. I recommend that you leave your device to charge for 12-24 hours undisturbed and see if that allows it to get it self up to the proper voltage....
Chosen Solution Hello everyone, in April I bought a MacBook Pro 2015 on ebay, and it worked fine, until… I have an hackintosh at home, and I used on it a normal usb key, on which I loaded Ubuntu live (just extracting the ISO on it) and inserted in the MBP to start Ubuntu. What greeted me was Clover (the hackintosh’s bootloader), which started MacOS and hung for a while on it (on the usb key there was only Ubuntu, and I’m sure of it, so this is already dark magic)....

Chosen Solution My laptop started to have these lines on the bottom of the screen. It’s mostly vertical lines that can still show the toolbar sometimes, but it “remembers changes? Like if I leave the cursor there for a while, sometimes the image of the cursor stays even if I moved it already. Sometimes it gets super blurry, but right now, I can still see the toolbar. Chosen Solution There are several issues. Recently the hinge for my screen has stripped it screws somehow and became locked in an upright position. This would not allow my screen to move properly without causing the backplate to flex and break away from the screen. After a few days the screen has finally refused to turn on. I would like to know if fixing the hinge will allow the screen to work....

Chosen Solution I had a bug fly into the connecting part where the screen connects to the keyboard (the black bar) i don’t know if it flew out or can fly into my battery and fan areas. I don’t know how to clean it or if it is a bad thing, what is that black bar? does it go into my computer system? HELP? I’ve seen much worse. Open it up and disconnect the battery and see if you can spot it....
Chosen Solution I have replaced my charging port assembly but in the process I damaged the “tangs” to the logic board where the charge port attaches. I bent some of the connections Now the connections are not correct and am having problems with the screen. To answer your question you can replace the board, its basically buy a new phone. If you damaged the prongs on the replacement part, buy another....

Adding electrical power to liquid is a good way to fry out the sensitive electronic components. The next step depends on the answers to a couple of questions. Chosen Solution this harddrive I replaced a few weeks ago. It is a Toshiba 60GB ZIP harddrive ! It worked fine, I had videos and music. Now I just replaced the LCD, casings & battery (LOOKS BRAND NEW!!) and I get the sad HHD face!! What’s going on??! It sounds like the hard drive cable is loose. Check the cable and see if that’s the case, otherwise the cable is damaged....
Chosen Solution If i wiggle the USB cable in my phone connector, I might be able to charge my phone if i don’t move the phone or cable. What can be done to address that problem? pgressier, the first thing that I would try, is to get an new cable. It is possible that the cable is at fault. If that does not work, you will have to replace the micro USB port on your logic board....

The problem may be finding a new one, think about buying a damaged motherboard and using a donor element. Call repair shops in your area, I’m sure you’ll find hundreds, maybe even more, damaged iPad motherboards by technicians for sale....
Chosen Solution I have a Acer Aspire One PAV70 that does not turn on. The blue power light will turn on for maybe 4 seconds and any usb devices will power up but the screen does not turn on. I have tried removing the battery, resetting the CMOS and testing it with another stick of RAM that I believe to be good. Try to drop out the hdd drive and to boot it then, i’ve seen on the net that faulty drives might prevent them from booting properly, also u can try to run it barebones on the table to make sure ur case isnt shorting out...
