Chosen Solution I bought a used 3060ti graphics card and it was getting hot, I did open and find out the thermal pads had the plastic cover stuck to them still, I cleaned because it melt to the heatsink after I cleaned everything and changed the pads with the thermal paste a spark came out when I turned on the computer. At this point I knew something got burnt so I check with my microscope and this was the only component it was kinda burnt I guess(I’m not sure), I was trying to find it online to replace it but I wasn’t able to find it, my question is someone that knows more about this could know if something else could be damaged, I did some inspection but I didn’t find anything visually burnt, this diode is next to the memory’s since Northridge doesn’t accept graphics card, where can I fix it?...

Chosen Solution Hello, during the opening of my Apple Watch 4 serie, I broke the adhesive on the edge where the display cables are running, cutting the two connections towards the two corners on the bottom of the case. Question: which is the technical function of this adhesive? is it strictly necessary? Is it available as spare part? Chosen Solution I installed a new battery and it will only charge up to 60%- why? Try resetting the SMC (System Management Controller). This will reset all power settings. I suggest you scour places like ebay or other online auctions. Try to purchase one that is broken and harvest the parts from there. Something like this might be a start

Chosen Solution My buddy slammed his fist into the keyboard and broke the Lcd. After he did that the system shutoff and now won’t post. I’ve replaced the Lcd, checked that power was actually getting to the motherboard with a multimeter, checked ram with a known good stick, and I cleared the cmos battery. I’m pretty new to all of this, but it seems like I’m running out of options. The only thing I believe it could be now is the cpu or gpu was damaged....
