Chosen Solution I had to settle for a Silver iPhone 8 Plus on Black Friday; I really wanted the Space Gray, mainly due to the black front panel and home button, but they didn’t have any. I don’t mind the “silver” (more like pearlescent white) back, but I’m having a hard time getting used to the white front. I know I could put a black skin on the front, but there’s still the matter of the home button being white, plus I’m not sure how to use a glass screen protector and a skin at the same time....

Chosen Solution Guys, My 160 gb hard drive gave up on me, it no longer works. I had an old ipod video 5.5 80gb thick version harddisk salvaged from that ipod. its harddrive model is MK8010GAH. I saw couple of youtube videos where it showed 160 gb has a different zif connector. Does the 80 gb harddrive work ? if yes can any one send me the link to buy the zif connector...

Chosen Solution A narrow vertical section of my girlfriends macbook screen is constantly static. I figure replacing the screen is the best bet. Logic board still spits out full graphics to an external monitor and all other quick fixes don’t work. Will a 2010 secondhand screen be compatible? I have read the answers to using a 2011 screen. Sorry no, Apple made enough alterations to the display assembly so you are locked in with either a 2011 or 2012 display assembly....

Chosen Solution I’ll try to be as concise as possible: I have a 15” early 2013 MBP that I gave up on a while back because it would not boot; it would hang halfway through the progress bar. I was and still am not able to boot from a USB installer, Internet Recovery, a target-disk other MBP, etc… I can see the hard drive on my other MBP if I boot the faulty unit into Target Disk....

Does your golf cart engine have a starter or a battery? Since it’s a 1998 model it might. I don’t know anything about golf cart engines, but my parents had an issue with their 1982 Chevy Citation that was very similar....

Chosen Solution I am on Step 44 of the Battery Replacement Procedure. I cannot insert the Battery Blocker as far as it is shown in the Procedure. As far as I can go is: Is this far enough not to cause a problem? If not, how can I insert it further? Lift the connector up, then insert the blocker fully.

Chosen Solution Just did what you apparently were considering, i.e. enlarging the lid with a Dremel-like tool. I had to stop the process when I saw some metal below the white plastic in the lid. Having checked with the X-ray image from the teardown, guess it’s just some magnets. So will continue to drill. I need my Pods to fit into the case with silicone tips on, hate to take them on and off every time....

Chosen Solution My LG 32LB530 has audio but black screen Hi @emma93, With the TV turned on and audio heard, try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen to check if you can see any images at all. They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them if they are there. If there are images then there is a backlight problem, either with the backlight power supply or the backlights themselves....

Chosen Solution Hi B C, Home Button Swap: This issue is very common when replacing any screen from the iPhone 5s on and I have dealt with this problem. It can usually be solved by just swapping the non-OEM home button with the OEM one found on the broken screen. If the home button on the original screen is not broken, you could just swap both of the home buttons for what should be a fully functional home button....

Chosen Solution My Asus tablet screen will randomly go black. I get the access home screen up and enter the access security code only to end up with a black screen again. After several attempts all will return to normal. I have adjusted the power saving settings in the hope that it will resolve the problem but it hasn’t. Chosen Solution My phone was fine yesterday. When i woke uo today the screen was black and unresponsive. When i turn it on it makes the charging sound also vibrated when i mute it. I have already hard reset ti which made no difference. I also factory reset it and updated it via itunes but that also made no difference. The phone was not dropped or water damaged. Screen has no damage etc....

Chosen Solution how to take the blades off when bolts are wore out djackson-1156 , You may want to remove the deck to aid/ease the bolt removal. Penetrating oil can help or hinder(try not to get too much on the head of bolt if you do use it). Methods that I have had success with in the past, socket type bolt extractor(available at most hardware and some rental stores), large vise grips,plumbers pipe wrench, weld nut over bolt head of similar size, file down bolt head to fit next size down socket/wrench, Use a cold chisel and large hammer on the flat of bolt head get the chisel to bite, then on an angle in the direction to remove bolt bang bolt repeatedly/sharply to loosen bolt....

Chosen Solution Hi I broke the little plastic plug that the ribbon cable for one of my triggers like in these images that I found on an unanswered question. I didnt even realise I broke it compeletly when working on my PSP, they must be very brittle. Chosen Solution I have a Samsung Galaxy s9 and shortly after getting it I began having problems with people hearing me over phone calls. I can hear them fine, but I also get a bad echo of my own voice when I talk (worse when I use speakerphone). I can use headphones and they can hear me then, and if I am using a video app like Google Duo they can hear me as well....
