Chosen Solution Hi, The spacebar on my A1048 keyboard isn’t working. I removed it and cleaned it, still no go. I tried using a swab to press the rubber part inside the hole for the key and it works for other keys, but not the spacebar. Any ideas for how to fix this? Thanks! Chosen Solution I’m looking for a way to fix this lamp (similar to the one shown here). My sister’s cat decided to hang from it and the metal pole snapped just above the screw-in part that connects the pole pieces (also shown here). I was thinking some kind of metal bracket that can be attached, tightened with screws and then painted brown. I’m just not sure if such piece exists. I’d be fine with any kind of cheap, safe way to do it without having to replace the whole thing....

On the MT the switch is located on the top of the transmission. On the AT is is on the Transmission Range Sensor Unplug the wire and your lights should turn off

Chosen Solution After about a minute of my DS being on, even when lightly touched both screens turn white. They only stay white when the touch screen is being touched I found that if I pressed down hard on one of the edges it will sort of fix it, but only if I continue to hold down on it. I have no clue how to fix this. Chosen Solution I just bought a brand new battery from Ifixit, and followed the process to change the battery as it was shown. I let it charge for 10 hrs and then tried powering it on. Which it did when the power charger was plugged in. As soon as it was unplugged from the computer it shut off. So what is going on here? Chosen Solution I have a CalDigit TS3+ docking station and the power indicator LED light fails to work most of the time–every once and a while, it will flicker to life, and then fail again after a few minutes. I found a teardown online, and when the device is taken apart, there’s a light pipe on the front plate, so I guess the LED is soldered to one of the main boards somewhere....

Chosen Solution i would like to know is there is away to change my track pad to force touch pad on my macbook pro ? Most likely not easily, and if you could, it would be quite the electronics project. There is dedicated hardware in the new computers that would have to be present to operate the Force Touch haptic engine I would assume. Plus, being Apple, I doubt they’d keep the connector pins the same between generations… I could be wrong though....

Chosen Solution So one day I was looking for my dongle and I grabbed it by the cord and it accidentally hit lightly the MacBook Por 16’’ Screen, leaving that small ugly scratch in the middle of the screen (see picture).
