As long as time is taken and work carefully then yes it can be done. I’ve replaced loads of batteries on phones with cracked screens. Just go easy. If that’s the case, it may be that the LCD connector to the motherboard isn’t seated correctly. If this was my machine, I would open it back up and disconnect the LCD....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced my OEM laptop battery with an iFixit battery. After installing, the battery charge percentage icon seems to give inaccurate readings. I discharged the battery, then charged fully to 100% as soon as the battery was replaced. It’s seems to show drastic jumps (example: showing 72% then a few min later showing 8%). The actual charge seems to be more than what is reflected when it drops down to a low percentage....
Chosen Solution Small Bernz-o-matic butane torch has stopped working. I have this as well and mine was spark related. I took tip apart and cleaned everything including the wire. I put it back together like 8 times to get position right but it works again. Can you send pictures of tip and back? Is it filling right? Even if if no flame is fas coming out?
Chosen Solution Hello, So I recently got the black screen of death problem of my Samsung Galacy A3 (2016). I went on to read about the possible solutions, including forced restart, forced shutdown, safe mode and recovery mode. Forced restart works, still no screen though, then the actual problem starts. The device cannot be shut down via holding down the power button.(I also read I have to start pressing the volume down and the power button at the same time to just shut down, but it still restarts) I could hold it for a whole minute, it won’t shut down....
Chosen Solution I have a customers iPhone XR and he says the bottom mic is very quite on speaker phone. Would I just have it replace the charging port to fix this issue? I would first clean out the grills at the bottom of the phone. You can either use compressed air, a toothbrush, or a pair of fine tipped tweezers. If you end up having to replace the charge port, make sure you use an OEM one....

Chosen Solution I found the answer to what HAPPENED, I used a high voltage charger my phone couldn’t handle, but I need it for a few days. I heard I’m lucky it didn’t blow up in my face. Can I charge it with the issued charger and use it for a week or so? Yeah, no. You’re going to need to replace the port either by buying a new port circuit board or micro soldering a new port onto the existing board....
