Chosen Solution I have similar problem with back light flashing about every 5 seconds. When I disconnect the cable to the main board the back light flickers very quickly. @jmp1 when you separate the mainboard from the power board, the backlight should come on continuously. What you are describing sounds very much like a failed backlight strip. If you give us your complete model number we can probably guide you to the right replacements....

Chosen Solution I’m working on a macbook pro 13" retina display, I replaced the backlight fuse and still nothing. Model is A1425, Where is the WLED Driver located on that model? Michael, the backlight driver on this model is reference designator U9701. Looks like another TI IC LP8545SQX-EXTJ. Check the image for the location. Hope this helps, good luck. the backlight driver never dies on this. on a1425 the fuse can die, on a1502 the fuse does not....

Chosen Solution After successfully replacing the aluminum body with an aftermarket one on my 7+, I tried the same thing with an iPhone 7 however I have come across a strange camera issue. This issue is evident in Panoramic and Time Lapse modes while in any other mode isn’t present. Chosen Solution I just replaced my MacBook battery using iFixit and followed all the instructions and everything was re-connected (to my knowledge.) I put the case back on and I went to turn it on and it would not. I then plugged it into the charger and it turned on.
