Chosen Solution My phone does not ring, make noises or play music thru the external speaker. But when I answer a phone call I can hear the other person thru the internal speaker. Can the external speaker be fixed or replaced? It has been dropped once and has been in water once, but neither of these things seemed to damage the speaker. This happenend a few weeks later. Hello Meghann you can replace the main speaker only if impedance goes more than 17 ohms otherwise it should works fine....

Chosen Solution Super Drive was recently plugged into a non apple laptop (did not work). When I tried to use it in my MacBook Air using Satechi Aluminium USB-C Multiport Pro Adapter it says USB Accessory needs power. (It worked before) Can the Super drive be fixed or is it best to just buy a new one?? It might be repairable! It depends on your skills and getting access to the needed parts....

My phone froze while I was uploading a video on fb Update (10/12/2021) I can not turn it off or on …. it just stays frozen

Chosen Solution Just replaced the battery in my MacbookPro A1398 (Mid 2012 Retina). The new battery initially showed 105% health, but after “calibration” as suggested (drain till shutdown and charge 100% again), it only shows 90% health - in fact it kind oscillates between 88-91%. Again this is health, not max charge %%. The cycle count is still 0 after calibration. Is this normal ? Or is it a sign of a problem replacement battery ?...

Chosen Solution 1997 Heritge Softtail Classsic, it will not start. I have lights on the dash but not headlights. I have looked at the ignition switch and it looks ok, not sure what else to check. If you left the bike sit in the shed through the winter, and it refused to start (i.e. crank the engine) when you took it out of the shed, the problem is most likely with the battery....

Chosen Solution Hi all, Here I have 2x MacBook Pro 15” Retina models. One is a 2012 and one is a 2013, basically the housing on the 2013 is really scratched up and the Logic Board one the 2012 version has a GPU fault. Is it possible to put the 2013 Logic Board in the 2012 MacBook? They’re both Retina and 15” models. Thanks, Andy. mmm… Not sure! You see there are two versions of the 2013 models Early and Late....

Chosen Solution My delayed wipers (5 settings) are all working at the same speed and the wipers do not park. When turned off, they stop where they are at. Tried replacing the multifunction column switch (per the dealership suggestion) but that didn’t solve the problem. Has anyone had this problem on a 2013 or newer model Town & Country? Any help would be appreciated. I turn the key won’t start but it keeps trying by its self....

Chosen Solution I have a 2015 MacBook Pro Retina with touch bar. One day I noticed the battery was not at 100%, even though the computer was plugged in. The battery slowly discharged down to zero and now it won’t turn on, it only makes the dead battery symbol on the screen. I have tried another charger and it makes no difference. I also removed the bottom case and disconnected the keyboad and trackpad cable and it made no difference....

Chosen Solution Hello and thanks in advance! I have an otherwise fully functional 3DS XL, however it doesn’t charge. We already desoldered the old charging port despite it looking completely undamaged and intalled a new one. I’m not really experienced with soldering but it holds and all contacts are properly connected with the motherboard. We tested the circuit with a digital multimeter and all seems to be fine. We tested continuity between the charging port and the battery connector and it shows the same values as a 3DS XL with functional charging port....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve just upgraded to a iP5 and wanted to use my old 3GS as my works phone, so i thought i’d do a quick restore, unlock it from O2 and off I go. No such luck. The 3GS had been working fine since day one with no problems at all. I downloaded an IPSW file for IOS 6.1.6 after the normal method kept corrupting and plugged the phone into iTunes....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve got this 2016 mac screen and a 2015 mac with a cracked screen wondering if they can be swapped would cost me a fraction of what companies are offering to repair it for? If I recall correctly, yes these are largely compatible. All the parts vendors I would trust list them as interchangable. I believe there are minor differences, for example the 2015 model only includes 1 magnet for lid open/close detection so that may cause some issues....

Chosen Solution Are the keycaps and scissor switches on the 2012 MacBooks the same? I’m referring to the 2012-2015 MacBook Pros, and 2011-2017 MacBook Airs. I know that some keys are going to be different, like the function keys on the 11” MacBook Airs. If I were to purchase switches and caps for a 2015 MacBook Pro, would it work on say a 2013 MacBook Air? I’m not looking to replace the whole keyboard assembly, just certain letter keys....

You have a short within the logic board! The sparks are around a Via which is a connection between different layers. At this point you’ll need to find someone with deep skills to fix this or just replace the logic board iMac Intel 21....

Chosen Solution Toshiba Satellite A215 S4747 Screen shows"BIOS Password"box ,Beeps many times ! I have searched helping websites & YouTube. Found that its becoz of CMOS problem. For its solution ground J4 with little wire in RAM box ! it worked successfully . Only the Time & Date has changed that I fixed but didn’t Update BIOS setting. Chosen Solution I have a clients lap top and I can’t get the computer to boot to an external monitor. The drive runs there are no warning lights and the computer seems to be functioning. Client spilled water on it dried it out and called Dell they walked her through some things then the screen shut off the other day. Now I can’t tell if it’s the graphics hardware/software or the screen....

Chosen Solution Was replacing the thermal paste on my console when I snapped the power supply completely off the motherboard. Is there any way to fix this? Xsinnombre _38 thanks for the images. Yes, three of the solder pads look still good enough for a solder repair. For the fourth one (red) looks like you can run a jumper from the connector to the end of the trace (or anywhere in between)....
