Chosen Solution Guys, I have this U2 Edition 20GB on which the display had working backlight but the screen was burned out. I tried changing it and still there’s no backlight. I tried restoring it. It didnt work. The seller gave me a replacement but stil that is also not working. But when he put that display in his normal 20GB A1059 ipod it lit up the backlight and had no issues....
Chosen Solution I replaced the Battery with a new one in March 2021. In September 2021 the “Service Battery” warning came up again. Should I replace it a 2nd time or could it be something else. I’m not sure what else could be happening. It could have been a faulty battery lead. I would replace it as didn’t they warranty it for a year? If the next on goes it is probably a bad resistor on the motherboard and Louis Rossman group in NY NY can fix it....

I’ve been told via mobile mechanic it’s possibly a bad solenoid in transmission or torque converter/throttle plate. Searching websites and DIY on YouTube. I managed to reflow some of the ICs on the board and it now gives me 7 beeps when I power it on which I think suggests something to do with a CPU cache error? Chosen Solution Hello I just replaced screen (obviously ordered from ifixit). On first test everything worked before reassemble. Later assembly done I turned on device and touch didn’t work. After hard restart it worked. But didn’t fix issue. Something after restart worked. Like 3 out of 1 time. What is the problem? Its not an iPhone 6 or 6 plus is it? If its the 7 Plus which I think you selected as the device, try making sure you have the screens cables fully connected....
