Chosen Solution I had a screen replacement for my iPhone 6s. After the replacement i’v had issues with the backlight. After some research i thought it was the filter that was blown (IC), but restarting my phone makes the backlight turn back on every time. The backlight sometimes turn off 10 times a day, and sometimes as little as one. Very annoying. But still its just a restart and its back....

I’ve always had a Mophie Juice Pack on it, and would usually go through both the internal battery and the external in about 16 hours of pretty heavy use, as I would expect… Then 2 days ago the phone has decided to burn through the internal battery in about 90 minutes, and takes the external battery about the same time to deplete as well....
Chosen Solution Picked up my phone because it was ringing in the shower, around thirty minutes later i find a big splotch of blue stain across the screen. Probably bc i have an open crack in the top right corner of my screen. Trying ventilation and considering direct heat from a table lamp in order to remedy problem. Chosen Solution I replaced the broken screen of my MacBook Air m1. Now you can hear the „Apple Bing“ when plugged to power but the screen remains black. The binging sounds repeats every 30 sec. Mia -.-, I have yet to do this replacement personally, but the new M series of both Air and Pro have serialised screens (and just about everything else). This means that the screen assembly is paired to the logic board :( You should try taking it back apart and making absolutely sure that every connector is 100% securely and correctly fastened, and try again, but it might just be that because of the serialising / pairing, you’re outta luck

Chosen Solution So when I use this phone, the charger works only when its shut off for some reason so when I turned it off and charged it, It seemed to be full so when I powered it on, it showed “powered by android” then the metroPCS logo, then after that, it powers off then back on to the “powered by android” screen. I went into recovery and did a factory reset but that showed green vertical lines across the screen and it didn’t turn back on....

The spray arms are clean and the filter is clean, so I don’t believe that’s the problem. I’ll start it, hot water gets pumped in, and there’s a loud hum sound. Chosen Solution Hi, I replaced my cracked screen with the screen/digitizer from ifixit . There were no real instructions on how to place the ribbon cables from the screen back in the case so they don’t get squashed. I reassembled the screen and everything works ok except for the bottom row of icons (mail, message, safari) etc does not work when you touch them, the rest of the screen works fine....
Chosen Solution I replaced my iPhone 7+ screen and when i installed the camera flex and the ear piece it keeps making a harsh static noise and the phone does not turn on when it is plugged in. So i ended up buying a new camera flex and ear piece think that, that was the issue. after installing the new parts i get the same result. Although the phone works just fine when i dont have the camera flux plugged in....
Chosen Solution The video chip is toast on my Mac Book. The problem is that year’s video chips all have the same defect. Can I put a logic board in, say from 2013, and get a functioning, non defect machine. Yes my laptop from 2011 was still functioning very well until this past week. You would have to stay with the A1286 model series. You may be able to use the 2012 board but the 2013 are all Retina machines....
Chosen Solution Might be a silly question but can I turn the phone on, test the screen, if all is ok then put on the brackets and tighten the screws without powering off the phone? you can, but i wouldn’t. the biggest risk is a bracket or screw touching and shorting electrical contacts. as a general rule, i always disconnect the battery before doing any work inside, and reconnect it last when i’m done....

Yes but there is no point the iPhone 6 is not water resistant there is holes in the buttons dock connector and speaker grill but the 6s doesn’t and that is why it has a water resistance seal so in conclusion there’s no point of installing a water seal in a 6

Is your phone’s SIM card securely in its slot? It may have been bumped out of place when you replaced the daughterboard....
