Chosen Solution Hi there, I have the Lenovo Y580. Will this guide be very similar for repairing? I am wanting to clean and re paste the fan, as it has become excessively noisy. I’m also trying to figure out which tools ect I need. Chosen Solution The Macbook (A1286, logicboard: 820-2850A) works fine with HDMI and there is image on screen (flashlight behind apple logo shows panel works) but no backlight. I am not very experienced with macbook repair, but have done SMD soldering before, i have watched a lot of louis rossmann videos on the topic. Looks like water damage on the board. I have checked the backlight fuse (F9800) and resistors (R9808/R9809) of the voltage divider for the backlight circuit which are all dead....

Chosen Solution Hi All, I got a cracked screen on my iPhone 6, the first replacement that i got didn’t work at all, but when i reconnected the original again, it worked again. So I returned the screen and got a replacement. Now I installed this one, it works fine, also all other functions of the phone work, accept for the touch ID and the battery drains by the minute….. Chosen Solution I was using the computer but will discharge . When I put in office no longer charge . The battery is still new , so I do not know what it is that prevents the charge . Can anyone tell me why not turn on? The battery may be functional on your laptop, however the charger or the power outlet that you are attempting to use may not be functional....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to take apart my 980 TI, and I don’t know what screw driver I need to take it apart, any idea which tool or tool kit I would need? Depends on which vendor / brand GTX 980 Ti it is? Some aftermarket cooler ones use different screws to hold the backplate and aftermarket cooler on. Most of them just need a phillips head screwdriver. iFixit 64-bit tool bit will have all the screw bits you need to disassemble every component in a computer....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 5S boots up very slowly sometimes. When on the Apple logo, he stays there for some time. Sometimes he starts up normally, sometimes very slow. I also noticed that sometimes when on Apple logo he will reboot and start booting again. Weird, because sometimes everything goes normal, sometimes he starts up slow. I checked battery health via iBackupBot and battery still have 90% of original capacity. DFU restore has already been done....

Chosen Solution I have a brand new 2019 Catalina Burkeshire six person spa. All the electric has been hooked up correctly with GFI and other required parts. When the breaker is turned on the LED lights come on and the stereo comes on but the pumps will not engage. What is the problem or what can we try to correct this ? Chosen Solution I have a iPhone 7 that three of my techs have already looked at the screen has been changed over five times but with every screen the phone with jump and skip, it doesn’t do it all of the time but at the most every two the three minutes, it dose have a little bit of a gray tent on the screen but nothing to extreme, any ideas on what the problem is....

Chosen Solution Where the two screws go in at the bottom of the iphone, one side is broken. It’s the little metal piece the screw goes into. I think I need a back shell but I’m not sure? The back shell images I’ve seen don’t have those in them. I also need a replacement bottom screw. Do you guys sell either of these parts or know what part I need to fix the broken screw bracket?...

Chosen Solution My playstation fell of my desk from about 2ft to a hard surface. While upon inspection, nothing appears to be physically damaged. The only issue is I occasionally have high ping while playing games and some games tell me i have no network connection at all even when connected to wifi. Should i have it looked at by a professional? Fall damage doesn’t correlate with high ping. Ping can be affected by so many things....

Chosen Solution My phone won’t charge anymore. I have done the holding the charger just a certain way to get it to charge. After that stops working, I buy a new charger. Check with another application and/or file, to make sure it’s not just the movie/music you’retrying to play that has audio in one side. Check Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing > If mono is on, turn it off. There is also a balance slide on here to test it out....

Chosen Solution Okay lets start off with that my 2ds wont power on because of the sleep button being awkward, like, the sleep button is slid all the way to the left but still wont power on. Chosen Solution Ok so the Macbook we’ve had since ‘06 is great. Its taken a pretty rough beating over the years through many hours of use (sometimes 24h+!) but is still going strong. Except the backlight is now non existent. Always trying to find the ‘sweet spot’, even this doesn’t work sometimes. Is it possible to change the inverter AND cable using the method shown in this link? http://www.screentekinc.com/lcd-removal-… I know there is the other method of dismantling the whole bottom case, but I don’t want to jump into that if I don’t have to....

Chosen Solution Does anybody knows if you can replace the thunderbolt display 250W PSU with an imac 27 2011 250W PSU? looks like the shape and connectors are similar, an this part costs less than a half than thunderbolt power supply , anybody has tried this ?
