Chosen Solution Ive got an 2006 iMac EMC-2111 today, and it doesnt want to boot. When I press the power button, leds 1,2 and 3 light up but not the fourth, I get no boot chime and the screen stays black. I have tested the RAM on another computer and it works fine. It currently has no HDD installed, but I dont know if that would prevent the mac from booting....

For whatever reason, the air selector knob (all the way on the left that directs the flow of air) will not turn all the way back counterclockwise position. The selector will sit between the first (Dashboard) and second (Dashboard and floor combo), and not move any further back. Chosen Solution Gyro Accelerometer Light Proximity .. i have a spare s6 motherboard that has a faulty power ic. Can I swap the sensor to the one I’m using? Where is the sensor located in motherboard. The fingerprint sensor is on the home button itself, it has a cable coming from it that goes under the display and then plugs in the bottom right of the motherboard’s home button connector. If you have not inspected the inside of the phone yet, the problem may be caused by liquid damage / corrosion on the home button connector on the board and/or cable itself....
Chosen Solution Whenever i open my laptop it goes into boot mode and when I exit it it shows write protected and hardisk not attached but I have a hard disk in it .It is showing the above picture when I go into bios. Hi, When in BIOS, look through the BIOS menus and check that it shows that it has detected the HDD. If there isn’t a HDD listed in BIOS you need to check if the HDD is connected OK....

Chosen Solution Hi there :) I’ve bought used MacBook 13 2015 - I’ve opened it up - definitely someone was messing with up inside. I’ve put new thermal paste right away on CPU and GPU as Apple NEVER puts it on GPU - I’ve even added thermal pat to GPU only as I think there is gap between heatsink and die. I’ve installed MacFanControl app as always and when I do some simple tasks like opening my iCloud informations in settings temperature on “CPU PECI” in MacFanControl spikes sometimes to 105C - while opening new tab with website in is MINIMUM 90C…… for few seconds then back to average 40C I know about all CPU temps spikes but not like so massive and for so many seconds....

Chosen Solution Ok, her’s the problem. The laptop Asus S551LN doesn’t power up, completely dead. The adapter gives 19 volts as it should. Of course I have tried to remove all the connected hardware and start without any luck. I have tried holding the power button as well. I don’t seem to find any schematics on this except some pictures of the motherboard. So I measured the continuity at the power on switch....

I have a recording but my phone recorded it as a m4a. now sure what to convert it to? **When it happens again ill just record a video rather than doing the voice memo...

After this, I reassebled all, and power on my MBP. Everything was ok. But now if I connect the magsafe, and my MBP is powered off, will auto power. The question is why he do that? And my led of the open/close lid, do nothing....

I came out to use it and it would turn on was off . battery completely dead even though it was plugging into the charger .. I changed battery then it worked fine .. so tonight it happened again after just changing the battery .. Chosen Solution I have a 15” FHD dell xps 15 9560. I upgraded the ssd to samsung 970 512gb 8gb ram to 16gb & Repasted the pros & vga. After doing so my battery life seems to be down to about 2/3 or 1/2 of what i had. Battery condition is 100% Do you think i did pasting wrong? Any suggestions? If you mean you cleaned the thermal grease off of the processor and gpu then if it was not done right it would lead to overheat conditions....

So, the main board and power board and cables are good (replaced them all), screen gets power and lights up full with no issues, however it goes into a boot loop when everything is connected. WHEN I disconnect only the ribbon cable (which is new) the TV boots full, the sound lets me know it is in the operating menu and clicking around dings and selects things properly....
Chosen Solution I purchased a complete in box non dual shock PlayStation at a flea market. It loads games fine but both controller ports are not working. When I plug in a dual shock controller, the analog light will not go on. I don’t know if the memory card ports work as I can’t access the memory card screen. The console itself it spotless, no rust at all. I’ve tried removing the controller port ribbon cable and examining components but everything seems fine....

I bought a battery replacement for my macbook pro 13 retina 2015 from iFixit EU store, battery model is correct A1582. Just arrived, I opened my macbook and tested the battery without removing the old one, just to not take apart a very glued battery and discover that new battery does not work. Without power mac doesn’t start, with power red charger light comes up, booting is starting but process does not complete itself and restart again....
