Chosen Solution I have a 24" LCD Sansui Television. It has worked awesome for a long time but now I can’t view anything on either HDMI ports. I have a cable box and a play station plugged into the HDMI ports but whenever one or the other is on, the screen just says “HDMI1” or “HDMI2” in the bottom right corner but doesn’t show a picture, or sound. It will work fine and then the picture cuts out and it goes back to only saying which HDMI setting it’s in with no picture....

Chosen Solution Heater and air do not blow Update (10/15/2019) Blower motor doesn’t work @tiny1117 you of course checked the fuses (should be a 20 Amp fuse in #6). If the fuse is okay then you need to check the resistors pack. If unsure if it is the motor connect a 12V source right on the orange wire on your heater motor. If it spins up you know your motor is okay....

Chosen Solution I have a Bosh dishwasher SMS63E32GB the arms are clean and clear they wont turn but water is coming out can anyone help Is the top spout clogged with gunk? if you dont know then just unscrew the arms and see if theres food and crap in it and if not check the pores of the arms and see if thats clogged with food just had a similar problem on my dishwasher....

Chosen Solution One reason the LG G5 got such a good ifixit-rating for repairability is the modularity of the components. From a practical point of view, I wonder how easy it might be for me to get spare parts in a few years (within the next 3 to 6 years). This determines how useful the fact of the modular components is for me to repair the phone. I’m not very experienced, so my questions to the makers here: from your experience, how realistic is it that I would be able to get spare parts in a few years if something breaks....

Chosen Solution Hi Background I opened my phone for a quick look after I had dropped it. cable 2 came out and during my attempts to clip it back in it sort of half-broke the clip. Problem when I connect the phone to the PC or to the wall connector it does not charge. When I hold the on button after 3 secs it comes up with the battery sign but underneath it has a plug sign pointing to an electricity sign, which I assume means I need to charge the battery because it is dead....

I have a USB mAh tracker and according to it the amount of mAhs going into the battery has really decreased after calibration, not to mention that it never hit 3000 mAh the manufacturing capacity. I followed the direction on the package for calibration, after charging to 100% for more than 2 hours I used it up till it was empty....

Chosen Solution The computer has spill damage. Everything seems to work other than the fact that the battery will not charge. I installed a new battery. That battery had a 44% charge out of the box but dropped to 1% where it stays regardless of how long I keep it plugged in. Like I said it works fine while plugged in and it worked fine off the new battery while it had its original 44% charge....

Chosen Solution Having a really frustrating issue with my Beats Solo 2 wireless headphones. They will only turn on when they are being charged, as soon as I take them off charge, they won’t turn on or connect. Randomly, yesterday they just started working again for a few hours (audio was absolutely fine) and have now stopped again. I have tried resetting them and all combinations of holding power and volume buttons for both 10 seconds and 120 seconds and now change....

Chosen Solution This has happened to me several times. I am very frustrated. Whenever I test the new screen without the front camera flex plugged in the phone boots perfectly fine. Once I plug in the camera flex it’s starts to bootloop. And no matter how many new FCAM flex’s I try it continues to bootloop until I put the original screen back on with the original FCAM. Could this be a software issue?...

Chosen Solution Hi I am 82 and got my grand dougter’s old Iphone 4. Both WiFi & Bluetooth are not working. I a not sure what to do ? I device was repaird twice but after short time failed again with both services. now it is too expensive to fix it so i would like to try fix it my self. First please look up my phones details and tell me if the antena yo sell is right for my phone an dif it is please do let me know what do I need to buy and price all together....

Chosen Solution Phone was dropped the screen wasn’t working on bottom half I replaced the screen an it’s doing the same thing I put both screens in a working phone an both work great tried restoring thru iTunes and it’s the same Inspect the display connectors on the board. There could be a possibility of board damage from the impact.

Chosen Solution As in the other question title like this, I can seemingly charge the battery through the USB on the side of the camera and it will light green on the on/off button, but I cannot turn it on. When I connect the USB to my computer, the camera gets registered for a split second, and the cuts off imedietely. Plugged in here, it lights green on the on/off button, and quiclky by the flash icon right next next to the display button....

Chosen Solution My Quest won’t charge even though it’s on the plug, but at the same time I’m on it as well TheGaming OrangeSlime if it does not charge, start with replacing the battery. Of course you have checked the charger and the cable first. Make sure those are in good condition. Use this disassembly guide Oculus Quest 2 Disassembly or check this video to get to the battery. Replace the battery and re-evaluate....

Chosen Solution Newby to Toyota’s. Having a problem using the auto bleed option with my scan tool to get the air out of my abs pump. The scan tool asks me to “unplug any relay or plugs according to the repair manuel”. I am unable to find any such reference as to which relay or plugs to remove. Which repair manuel?……Help! Please! @gcr that is a very vague description. I’d check the brake part of the manual and I would think by plugs it could be the bleeder plugs....

Chosen Solution Previously I asked for help with an issue on my laptop on this forum. Shortly after buying this laptop used it slowed down, as well the fans spin up to full speed shortly after startup. I ran diagnostics and it returned a result of “SMC issue. with code PFM006”. I then took it to an Apple store and they ran their diagnostics. They didn’t get the SMC error. But they did say there was something wrong with the SSD connector....

Chosen Solution Hello, all, first post here so don’t mind any weirdness detected. I have recently acquired a broken 3DS off of ebay with the hopes of fixing the thing, and sure enough, it is broken. I have it plugged into a working charger and the charging light does actually come on and the system appears to charge. After a bit when I turn it on, I do get a red light showing it’s charged a tiny bit and unplugging the power cable, it does actually start to erratically flash red in a panicked means of telling me the battery is dying....

Chosen Solution External monitor works so the computer is basically AOK. Backlight went out at first, worked briefly each time the machine was closed and then reopened. Then total failure. Replaced the inverter board, no change. My system wasn’t going to sleep when closed. I then replaced the infrared sleep sensor, backlight came on, for about a half an hour, then went off again and regressed to totally dead now. I don’t understand why it came back on for that time but failed again as if that sensor board had something to do with it....

Chosen Solution I have cleaned my Mighty Mouse several times following your instructions manual, but the last time I did it, the ball doesn’t function anymore. Any thing I did wrong? I have used this procedure several times, and I’m sure I reassembled it correctly. Maybe the cables or the cables connectors are with problem, is it possible? What can I try to correct this problem? we find that most cases you can clean it from the outside by rolling the ball with a cleaning substance....
