Chosen Solution So I have an iphone xs with broken backside, I changed the whole backside but apple pay does not work.. wireless charging works. Does anyone know what could be wrong, everything else works. To my knowledge, Apple Pay works solely through the NFC antenna, so that is what I would suspect is causing this issue. Perhaps during the repair the antenna was only slightly damaged, allowing for wireless charging to still work but breaking the NFC capabilities?...

Chosen Solution First off, my laptop is actually a U505, not 405. There’s no listing for it, so I had to choose this. As my question says, the backlight will occasionally die whenever the display’s at a certain angle. It also will sometimes cut out and the laptop has to be restarted to get it back. The hinges are loose, and I can’t seem to find the original screws. It is likely the power wires going to the backlight....

Chosen Solution My ipad pro 10.5 went to black after I close its cover when watching streaming video. I tried hard restart with a wire connecting it with my macbook to restore it as advised by apple website, and also bought some fixing softwares claiming to repair the issue. The device can be restarted with the Apple logo, and the progress goes like 30% and then the connection is disrupted. The provider of the softwares asked me to send the log file to them and concluded that there could be damage of some hardwares....

Chosen Solution It blinks every 4 seconds or so. Solid red WIFI light. No beeps. If I leave it on for a while or really any time it gets hot it boots like normal and has no problems until it cools down. Why is this happening? Is it time for a new laptop? Thanks! But, when I put the logic board back in and went to reconnect everything, I discovered I had gotten the flex cable of the battery indicator lights stuck under the board. I took the board off and found that I severed the cable right in the middle. I reconnected everything else, I’m fairly sure correctly, then went to see if it’d work without that....

Chosen Solution This computer is making a burning smell, that seems to get more intense with how hard it is working. If it’s idle, there’s no smell, but when gaming, for example, it gets unbearable. I have checked temperatures using sudo powermetrics, both CPU and GPU temps are totally fine, around 60 to 70 when the smell is faint and only noticeable when you are near the exhaust vent. Chosen Solution I need to replace my U.S. vita slims screen/front assembly. Can I purchase one of the JP variety that come in many more colors? Or are the parts region specific? Chosen Solution i’ve seen descriptions of people using other monitors from 13-17. Can this actually work ? Sometimes Apple sticks with a part for a run of systems which was the case here!
