Chosen Solution Hey all, So I have a MacBook from 2009 and I was trying to put the key board back on to the device after a repair, unfortunately the keyboard refused to boot the computer up and when I tried to remove it to see what the problem was the connector on the keyboard came loos and disconnected from the board. In attempt to boot up the computer I located the power pads and booted it up though there and I was like “Oh ok good ill just leave the top case off and ill boot it up that way....

Chosen Solution Can I factory re-set my phone WITHOUT losing the data stored on the phone? no you cant think about it did the factory have any of your apps or pics or music no they didnt so if you reset it to factory defaults its like you just got it brand new in the box

Chosen Solution I have a bunch of store bought Halloween props that are either sound or motion activated. The sound ones are not sensitive enough and the motion ones require light to work. Is it possible to replace these with IR ones that will work in the dark.? You could try to I’m sure its possible, You would have to take the prop(s) apart though and resolder some wires.

Chosen Solution I have no videocard or coolinf fan and element on the right side. My videocard is built into the motherboard. Is this normal? Yes, it is very normal for motherboards to have a GPU (videocard) built in.

Chosen Solution This problem first started when my iPhone suddenly died for no apparent reason. It was just sitting at my table (the screen was on) and poof. So then I tried to connect it to my computer, to see if it would boot up again or something, but there was no response on the device. So I opened the phone, disconnected and reconnected the battery (I should have plugged it to the wall first, but I didn’t think of that), thinking it would solve my problem....

Chosen Solution Using an off the shelf Honeywell Lyric water leak detector (the one with WiFi) I want to replace the plug- in water sense cable with an active circuit that will detect a power loss (of 110vac from a receptacle) by tricking the detector to think it’s a leak, and send a message to my cell phone via WiFi. It is to be used to make sure my separate Freezer in the garage does not lose power....

Chosen Solution I just need to know if I’m able to take out the relay for throttle control motor in the ipdm. . My car goes into limp mode but if I tap on that relay it goes back to normal driving conditions.. i just dont wanna force it out and not be able to put a new one in.. but a new ipdm is out of my budget for the second....

Chosen Solution After an Ubuntu update (I do not know if this is related) it seems like my laptop got completely stuck. Basically, I can see the led turned on, above the power button (just another button on the upper right part of the keyboard), on the CAPS button, on the side, when the charger is in place the led is correctly showing the battery charging (orange) or fully charged (green)....

Chosen Solution A co-worker of mine asked me what could be wrong with his TV, and I had told him that I’d take a look. Seems obvious to me that SOME sort of hardware has gone bad but, being that I’m kind of a n00b at this whole thing, I’m a little lost as to what it could be. He told me that he was given the TV with the issue of the audio only working after a few minutes of warmup, but now he’s also experiencing video cutout after a little while as well....

Chosen Solution Hi , I’m hoping someone can help me diagnose a problem with my Honda SFX 50cc moped. All was fine until the other day I started it up and noticed the rear wheel was not spinning when the throttle is turned. I’ve already checked the back wheel splines and the shaft splines and they are fine no wear whatsoever, I’ve had a look inside the crankcase as well all cogs are fine belt seemed tensioned, the only thing I notice without taking everything off is the compression coil seems very stiff as if its locked up....

Chosen Solution Backlight is regularly either off when starting up or flickers then turns off while using. Opening and closing the lid sometimes turns it back on. New screen fitted by Apple 6 months ago and new battery also. Ive checked the data cable looks ok to me. If anyone could help regarding this one would be awesome! Chosen Solution I have a macbook pro. Have bought it used from a local market. The problem is sometimes the backlight goes off.. The issue first appeared when I closed the lid and it went to deep sleep. after I opened the lid the backlight is not working. The display is there as I have tested it with a torch pointed at the apple logo and I was able see the desktop and stuff....

Chosen Solution Late 2012 Imac A1419 EMC2546 after trying to wake it up gave me a cloud of dust as fans kicked in at a full speed and screen is black.Power button works turns iMac off and on but fans keep running at a full after it turns on.Screen is black with no signs of life…after turning computer off i could hear some slow fan running … …at the moment have a screen removed and trying to find out if some heat sensor giving me this problem …....

Chosen Solution Where can i get the bottom cover part? Mine scratched a bit, worth even replace it? Or leave as it’s. It wouldn’t be bad to leave it as it is but if you really want to buy a bottom part just look up ‘Mac mini 2018 bottom part’ on google. A bunch of options and prices showed up.

I was trying to remove a broken screw and I think I hit a very small component, since that my laptop is not turning on: black screen and only power and caps lock led are illuminated. Chosen Solution I have iPad Air 2 given to me from my uncle the problem is the screen has a lot of cracks but I can still touch it and I think the LCD is still in good condition So can I replace the iPad Air 2’s digitizer touch screen only or I have to replace the LCD as well. Pota Lods the digitizer and LCD are fused. Unless you have the experience and the tools to separate it, replace the complete display assembly....
