Chosen Solution I have a 55la6230 model and the backlight flashes on for only a second to show the logo at startup, then turns straight off. After pulling it apart only the bottom half works (as It’s in 2 series of strips) What could be the cause of the top half going out? as I don’t want to replace the strips for them to be shorted again Thanks @zombierat check the voltages on your power board....
Chosen Solution Do I need to get the kit for both replacements, or can I just get the repair kit with one of these pieces? Repair kit for one are those are sufficient. Phillips and pentalobe screw driver are provided in a kit so no need for two sets of them.
Chosen Solution After replacing toner and fuser prints only blank pages. I have replaced the toner and the fuser totally new. The printer was on the side of the office, nobody using it and I want to recover it. I really don’t know if there’s anything else I should replace or clean to make it work properly. Well assuming you removed any seals on the new toner cartridge: (Most laser toners have a tab you need to pull to remove a plastic strip that seals the toner into the cartridge to prevent it from making a mess during shipping, ) I think all cartridges I’ve seen have some plastic tab that that will prevent you from installing the cartridge if you haven’t unsealed the toner bottle properly....

I got this Alienware 15 R4 a little over a year ago and had recently disconnected my laptop battery in August because it wasn’t working. Chosen Solution My apple pencil (2nd generation) suddenly stopped working. I used it the day before and then when I woke it just wouldn’t connect. Tried connecting it to another iPad, it didn’t connect either and tried connecting another apple pencil to my iPad and it worked. The only thing it shows me on the top is a flashing sign with “apple pencil” on it (no battery %). Contacted Apple but they were no help....
Chosen Solution I have been using Xiaomi Redmi 3 for abt 6 months now. When I woke up yesterday, the battery was dead but didn’t respond to any means of charging; tried different cables and three different USD slots, and even two different chargers. Chosen Solution I have a Samsung S7 edge that was boot looping after turning on for about 30 seconds, I disconnected both cameras, and it stopped the loop. When I reconnect them again and launch the camera app, it says “camera keeps stopping, do yo want to close the app?” Then the boot looping starts again. I replaced both cameras and for the life of me cannot figure out what the issue could be....
Chosen Solution We put in a new SD card and the camera says it’s locked. I have adjusted it several ways and it hasn’t helped. It shows how to set up card in manuel but the area I need to go to is inaccessible . Sorry if this seems trivial to you, but is the little switch on the card in the unlocked position? On most cards it needs to be closer to the end with the pins....
Chosen Solution I dropped my power shot SX160IS camera and distorted the zoom lens unit which is stuck and so will no longer retract. The camera is now non operational, it switches off because of the non retraction of the lens. Is it relatively easy to replace just the lens unit with a new one? or is the cameras not repairable? thank you very much for any help. alan I’ve got an sx610hs with the same issue, only after I dropped it I stepped on it(it was night with tall grass, very depressing) currently attempting my own repairs, guess these aren’t very popular cameras as there’s not very much info online for fixes :(

Chosen Solution Is the voltage regulator on the daughter board? My S8+ indicated moisture when I plugged in the charging cable, the next day it did not but It will not take a charge. Even wirelessly. It was working fine, just not charging. Once the battery went down the phone will not power on. When charging now there is a circle with a lightning bolt on an otherwise blank screen, normally it has the percentage charge also....

There are several things that can go wrong that would cause the screen to be blank, so without figuring out what the problem is, we’d just be advising you to throw money at it hoping we accidentally hit on the problem....

Your board does not have any jumpers and removing the CMOS battery does not erase any of your settings for the BIOS password. Unless you find the IC and know where to reset it, there is not a whole lot you can do....

Chosen Solution I will be on a phone call with someone and every time I would speak or if the microphone picks up any sound, the audio would fade. They can still hear me fine. This happens even when I switch from the earpiece, speaker, or a headset. I have restarted the phone in the past and it’ll work for awhile but the problem will return eventually. This seems to me like it’s a software issue....

Chosen Solution My machine broke a few days ago, water was running through instead of coffee, despite it still grinding the beans. So it seems something is wrong with the brewing unit. I tried taking it apart (with help of all the great guides on here) and checked the drainage valve, cleaned the machine and took the brewing unit out and ran cold water through it. Nothing seems to have helped and now when I plug it in, the ‘bean+’ button and ‘s’ button blink in alternation and it doesn’t react to me pressing any button....
