Chosen Solution I just bought a 24” iMac for parts or repair that I’m trying to fix. When I turn it on the disk drive still checks for a disc, the fans still spin. When I disconnect the temperature sensor they still start spinning really fast. 3/4 lights on the motherboard are on (from what I understand this could mean a faulty display or graphics card) but they are both in very nice condition....

Ok, so when the red key is turned the blue door is swings open, but when you try to close it back it stops and doesn’t go all the way. This could indicate that another plastic part is preventing it from closing (which means its assembled wrong). Or, it could be that the door is too far out, thus why it closes soon, because it thinks it’s closed in the right position, meaning you’d have to disassemble the door and adjust how back the door should be....

Chosen Solution I was having this issue with both an iPhone 6s and an iPhone 6. I replaced the wifi antennae on the iPhone 6, which fixed the problem perfectly. However, with the 6s I’ve replaced both the top-left antennae and the wifi diversity antennae cable. Neither fixed the issue. I see the 2.4ghz wifi networks, but it won’t accept my password and connect. Bluetooth works within about 6”, but anything beyond that cuts out....

When battery pulled out charge light only stays on for a few seconds then goes out. Completely disassembled unit to check the fuses on the main board and they test OK. I’m stumped. If you have a fan spinning, connect an external display. Also, disconnect the battery, then plug the MBA in; the computer should turn on by itself. If it does not turn on by itself, use the power on jumper pads on the board to try to turn it on....
