Chosen Solution Cannot charge through the usb port @cookbook1 , Shelia, Look in the charge port and blow/pick out(carefully) any dust/debri that may be causing an issue also look in the port for any bent pins and straighten very carefully with a tooth pick. Try a different compatible charger/cord to see if that is the issue. If different compatible charger/cord does not fix and port looks/test good, the battery or connection could be bad, if able to clean battery connections and reconnect/install battery, still not charging battery probably faulty....

Chosen Solution Is there a way to use a different battery? The connector is very unique and it makes it impossible to find a 3rd party replacement. You will probably need to purchase a new battery with the same voltage and amperage as your old one, then snip old battery wires and plug from old battery and solder and tape them on your new battery. Not as hard as it sounds....

Chosen Solution I have a 2 year old Philips Roku 32" model 2pfl4664/f7 TV. It works, but has high contrast and washed out screen with some jittering and occasional flickering with bright white. Did factory reset and tried brightness and contrast but no resolution. Could it just be loose connection on the screen? Any suggestion greatly appreciated. Chosen Solution No matter what i do the add water light stays on There is a magnetic float sensor in your reservoir that is stuck in the down position. Fill up the reservoir to the max level and tap the side of the reservoir until the float is free (this works better if you remove the reservoir first). You can also use a magnet against the side of the reservoir by the float to help jiggle it free....
Chosen Solution First started after no use winter. Once it starts working it works fine. Parts store quick coupler gauge shows in green when compressor running. cooling system compressors normally start immediately from an off condition. HOWEVER, if it is turned off then back on immediately, there is a time delay of 3-5 minutes to allow the internal pressure to dissipate. That pressure will stall the motor on startup and burn the motor out....

Here you can get advice on how to fix it yourself. You do want to use something like this video to replace the LCD, which is most likely what causes you to " see is a millions of colourful lines" ....

Chosen Solution Recently I bought a very cheap 2011 MacBook Pro that was liquid damaged - only bought it because it was still running so assumed it wasn’t too bad. Keyboard was definitely dead so I replaced with a brand new one now it works flawless. Also replaced charging port after reading here ( MacBook Pro not detecting battery (even after logic board replacement)) it might be faulty but looking back it was a waste of money as it didn’t make any difference....
Chosen Solution The power cord was pulled out of the wall socket while my iMac was still running. Now it will not boot up past the black screen and white logo with bar. It just sits there doing nothing at that point. It sounds like your drive has a file or two which have become corrupted as it was in the middle of updating the file in mid-operation. Lets see if the system can boot up under Safe Mode....
Chosen Solution My ethernet port/jack has been broken for a few weeks. When I plug in an ethernet cable, it works, but it does not click and will fall out if I do not tape it to my laptop. Chosen Solution I haven’t used my printer for some time so the cartridges had dried up. I was advised to soak the black cartridge in warm water for a few minutes which I did. It still didn’t work when I reinserted it so I bought a full, new set of cartridges (not Brother!). The other colours are fine but the black won’t print at all, not a glimmer. Brother have said they can’t help because I haven’t used there cartridges....
