Chosen Solution So my screen had cracked, and with my warranty up, I decided to replace it myself with a digitizer I purchased off eBay for roughly $40. Replacement went fine, but now after about two days, the top portion and now sides of screen have begun to lift away from the frame, and a gap is widening between the glass and digitizer frame. Versus purchasing another digitizer assembly, or having Apple do it at an astronomical cost, I would like to just try and appy adhesive to the problem areas, and DIY it....

I’ve just bought a refurbished Nintendo Dsi from the internet, and would like to purchase a blank R4 card and micro SD card to download and play games using the Dsi. I have no idea which R4 card to buy as theres so many, all variating in type and price. Obviously I would like the cheapest option:) Any help/advice appreciated!...

Chosen Solution @didurebootit Would the bang have come from a capacitor or a different component type? Any component that has catastrophic failure can make and impressive noise. I have had rectifiers fail that made way bigger noises than any cap that I have had blow up on me. Anyhow, check the components on your power board underneath that cage. Make sure you just look since I expect more caps etc. under there and you do not want to get zapped on those....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I’ve been struggling since yesterday with no luck to install EL Capitan 10.11.6 on a new iMac 21.5. I changed successfully the date on Terminal (in boot recovery), but after that it gives only the option to reinstall Catalina. I have a carbon copy image of El Capitan from another iMac that did not work, and, the installer, but this last is impossible to execute. and doesn’t appear in Boot recovery....

Chosen Solution im looking at a faulty ps3 that wont read disks. if i just buy the games off the playstation store will it play the games i download??? and will the games be able to be played online??? The “FAT” model PS3’s are known for their bluray drives going bad. Many argue that it is caused by firmware upgrades, but we may never know what truly causes it. Have you tried any other disks besides games?...

Chosen Solution The earphone on my A70 does not work after I replaced the screen. It tried to put everything back to the old screen but it does not work anymore. Do you know what’s wrong with it? Thank you. @vqviet it is my understanding the the A70 has the headphone jack on the PBA board that has the charging port on it as well. I suggest you replace that and see what you get....

Chosen Solution The laptop has a broken screen and no battery, but when powering on the first time after I plug it in I can confirm that the laptop boots. However, If I then switch it off and on via the power button, the laptop no longer boots/the screen stays dark. The amount of time between powering the laptop off/on via the button is irrelevant, the issue occurs nonetheless. The LED lights on the laptop still go on and I can still hear the fan working, but it will only properly boot if I take out the charger and plug it in again....

Chosen Solution I recently moved cities and after unpacking I noticed my Keurig is no longer working. When I turn my Keurig on, the machine will display the add water, heating and medium cup buttons and they will all be blinking. I tried to replace the external water reservoir and even opened up the bottom of the Keurig to drain the internal reservoir however I have not seen any results. If anyone has had a similar problem, please feel free on what to do in order to fix this....

Chosen Solution Hey guys, I got a new motherboard put into my macbook pro. I had spilled water on my macbook and the battery stopped being recognized and the entire computer ran very slow. After researching some, everybody suggested new motherboard. So I installed the new motherboard and I am still having the same problem. The computer runs much faster now and works correctly, however the battery is still not being detected....

Chosen Solution my macbook now have a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 and Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB. I am wondering if there are any better logic board to upgrade to? you could try the i7 board Sadly you only have two boards in your series MacBookPro7,1 and both are Core2Duo based. Apple made a sizable change with the 2011/12 models and then again with the Retina models none of which fit your system....

Chosen Solution I bought an iphone xsmax second hand from a shop. At the time of purchasing the battery health was 100% and the percentage was showing but once I got back home, I inserted my icloud and checked the battery health, it went into service and percentage was not showing. Chosen Solution Like i said in the title, the problem I’m having with my IPad Air 2 is that when I turn it off for a bit more than 10 seconds and power back on, the screen is completely black, even with charge, ( example: YouTube video) but the good thing is that the backlight turns on and I can access the main IOS screen. Not rebooting or anything else solved the problem....

Chosen Solution on the right side of my MacBook the bottom case is popped out Every time I have seen this, it has been a swollen battery. There nothing else in there that will do that. This is a factory defective battery so I would run to the Apple store before your warranty expires. I usually take out an extended AppleCare warranty anytime I have a problem within the first year of a product....
