Chosen Solution I have taken out my battery to use it straight from the AC power adapter (I had bad battery swelling so I took it out to replace it down the line). Well, idly, the macbook is fine. As soon as I run any task, it decides to go into shutdown. Any solutions? I am also currently trying to wipe the entire disk. During bootup after the reinstall, it is in a boot loop....

Chosen Solution How do I fix this, I’ve replaced the analog sticks but they’re still slightly drifting, i believe i have oem replacement sticks but they were around 1$ a piece I have seen this issue with my repairs as well. I had soldered a new analog stick but during testing on gamepad tester found the sticks to have a slight pull but they were not drifting like yours do. The problem could be due to the to the type of analog stick you used because I see that with some analog sticks, there is no pull while some do (this is because each analog stick from different manufacturers will output some different resistance value when the sticks move around and the motherboard reads these signals differently) ....
Chosen Solution As many techs now know, the screens adhesive deteriorates over time and the 12 models are no exception. When trying to remove the screens that are perfectly working we want to remove it without damaging them. The adhesive that bonds the glass to the plastic frame on the screen itself comes loose trying to remove the screen making it 50/50 chance of damaging the display. My question is has anyone figure out a way to pop the bottom of the screen off from the housing through the screw holes instead of using a suction?...

If using the power adapter try inserting 4 x AA batteries into the scales to check if it works. If it does then there is a problem with the power adapter. (Check that they are inserted correctly). Chosen Solution Hey! Found similar issues on this forum/web but nothing specifically matching my issue, I have a verified good apple charger but no charge indicator and a dead battery on my machine. I tried resetting SMC, as well as disconnecting the battery and holding the power button/then plugging in the charger - still no magsafe response. The fans do not turn on even with the battery disconnected (stared at it while the case was off)....

Hi @stroft2 “Rusty” sounds like a battery may have leaked and corroded the battery connection terminals or water has penetrated the controller at one time and done the same. Remove the battery from the controller and then disassemble the controller and clean the terminals (and anything else) using a Q-Tip slightly moistened (not dripping) with Isopropyl Alcohol 99%+ (available at electronics parts stores)....
Chosen Solution Hey guys, it’s been 2 times i am having this problem. After replacing the upper component cable, (power and volume cable) the battery % percentage of the phone dont refresh. It always shows the same percentage. Do you guys know why ? The last phone i repaired, i may have not put back this small piece : Have you tried doing a hard rest (hold home and power button until you see the apple logo) and have you tried calibrating the battery (letting die completely and let it charge and seeing if the percentage going to 100%
Chosen Solution I replaced the logic board on my A1342 the other day, and this time everything works, except the internal display. It’s still giving me the black screen with backlight, although if you close it immediately after turning it on, it will show something on the external display. (I’ve tried with the old logic board, still nothing) Is this an issue with the display itself or something else? Edit - I should mention that I didn’t set up the computer when I wrote this, now I have and it functions as a normal MacBook would do when connected to another screen, only of course the main screen is dead....

Chosen Solution my brake warning light stays on cleaned terminals have you checked your parking brake? Check that your brake fluid reservoir is full of fluid! My clutch was leaking and while the reservoir is designed to not allow the clutch to draw below the line necessary for the proper operation of the brake, the brake light was still on intermittently. It is a float sensor that checks the fluid, make sure it is not stuck....
Chosen Solution In the process of swapping screens between 2 11-inch MacBook Airs I inadvertently broke off one of the connectors that attaches the wireless card to the antenna cable. That thing is super tiny. Is there any way that I can reattach it? Can I glue it on? How is it attached? Otherwise it seems like I have destroyed an entire display panel due to a broken connector. If not, is there an os12 compatible external wifi adapter that can be used? The 2016 model is the same setup which you can see in this MacBook Pro 13" Function Keys Late 2016 Teardown Sadly, the WiFI and BT services are within a soldered chip on the logic board which you can see in the teardown on Step 15 (the Yellow marked chip) But before you go down that path how about doing a bit more diagnostics to see more clearly why you are having problems....

This rMBP seems to already be using a display from a different model of rMBP as the webcam doesn’t work because the webcam connector is small but the socket on the logic board is large. Just follow the steps in here. The iFixit online store seems to have the part you will need for sale here, tho it appears to be out-of-stock at the moment. Chosen Solution hello everyone i have made it through initial setup on my tablet but when ever i click on the google play store app it asks me to enter my information and i do but then proceeds to tell me that it couldn’t connect to google play because it had no connection. I looked it up and come to find out my date and time was way off it said it was jan 1, 2000 so i set the date and time to what they needed to be and i tried to log back in and now it says that it doesn’t have a reliable connection to the google play servers....
Chosen Solution I split my machine open to replace a non-functional battery and ran my putty knife through the trackpad cable. I ordered a replacement per the PN# on the cable I cut, 821-1904-A. This however did not work, the trackpad has no movement/input at all. What is more odd is I inadvertently I ordered an incorrect cable, 821-1610-A, and it works. However, due to the design of the cable, it’s too long and can’t be installed in the case as a solution....
