Chosen Solution i had my alienware 15 for 2 years, then i disassembly to clean the fan and i pulled the 30 pin connector and i broke a part in the side, that part connects the soket and the motherbase i turned up the pc and then the black screen and the 8 beeps appears, i dont know if that have a solution because i dont know if that socket can be replazed and solded to the motherboard or i need to buy a new one....

From what all the posters have said, a reset doesn’t work, so if it’s still under warranty, get apple to give you a new logicboard....

Chosen Solution I dropped the phone in water, subsequently it would light up with the apple logo on the screen then turn off but only when placed on an ac charger, no response with sinc cable. Replaced battery and dock connector and the same thing happens. I took the logic board and tried it in a friends phone and it worked fine. Chosen Solution Sounds like you still have a keyboard issue from the spill. Did they replace it? As far as the symptom of the system starting up with the battery disconnected when you plug in the MagSafe that is the expected reaction.
Chosen Solution I successfully completed this guide but when I put everything back together and turn it on, I only see the low battery indicator (even when plugged in) I left it plugged in for several hours but I only ever see low battery. Occasionally the screen will light up with the Apple logo and show the keypad. It even registers a couple of key presses but before I can enter the passcode the iPad turns off....

Chosen Solution I bought a broken Switch with the problem aforementioned in the title and am currently trying to repair it, however, I am struggling to determine the cause of the problem, which is why I thought I’d ask. Other than the title, I have made several observations prior to opening the Switch, which are: factory rebooting or updating through the bootup menu do not solve the problem;neither does keeping it connected to a power source for several hours;when powered on, it gets very hot I one’s hands, almost like my old smartphone (IDK if it’s normal, I’ve never owned a Switch before);sometimes if connected and force powered off and then powered on once again, it will instead be stuck on the Switch logo forever;letting it lose all charge did not solve the problem, but also created another one where the battery does not seem to charge anymore....

Chosen Solution Reason why I want to do this, is because I dont have a lot of money to spend on a replacement screen and have actually been burned on a cheap £25 one, which has terrible ghosting/motion blur and also has phantom touches after some use, the seller has refunded me 30% and let me keep the screen so theres that. But I am so annoyed and frustrated by these issues that I’m strongly considering going back to my old screen, which while cracked and missing glass around the home button (allowing it to move and pull up out of its space) worked fine and had no screen/digitizer damage....

Chosen Solution It seems to work when it is closed gently, but if it is closed with any amount of force (specifically on the right side) it turns off. This does not happen when it is plugged in to the charger. I have literally no experience with taking apart small electronics, so any input would be helpful. It sounds like there may be a loose connection between the top screen and the bottom half where the motherboard is located....
