Chosen Solution Hello group, I have a 2017 Touch Bar, after apple screwed me once again on the recall I need to replace the keyboard and Touch Bar I have the flashing white light on the Touch Bar that drives me nuts and a couple of keys that don’t work well. I have replaced the battery but will replace again, thinking of buying a used top case. Previously, I have replaced an iPhone 6 battery and the home button so the phone would work....

Chosen Solution I’ve changed the display of my apple iphone 5s and after replacement of this display the volume up button don’t work anymore. Why ?? the display sitting right in housing :o Did you take the battery out? You might have damaged the volume flex which is underneath the battery.

Chosen Solution Having really bad luck, after replacing battery now the camera doesn’t work. When I open the app the shutter doesn’t open. Bought a camera on an auction site and it’s doing the same. Now I really don’t know if the camera is also bad or whatever is broken. I did all the resetting available including hard reset and restoring the phone. What should I do? Thanks! Update Just bought a camera on eBay and now is working great!...

Chosen Solution Hello, after we replaced the screen of a i6+, the customer came back with the issue that it gets very hot under the frontflex. The heat is actually coming from the flexcabel of the lcd screen. We testet it with 3 other screens from different suppliers, changed different frontflexcables, cleaned everything completetly with isop and always the same problem. Also if we start the phone with only the lcd connected it gets hot at this special point....

I have a problem with the wifi.. same weeks ago, my MBP 13” 2011 wasn’t unable to resume after stop.. the only way to wake up it was to unplug the battery, press for 10 sec the power button and, than, plug it again. After pressing the power button (the back cover was removed), the AirPort/Bluetooth cable was in fire!!! So, first of all, I changed the cable without success… then, I changed also the AirPort/Bluetooth board: now, the bluetooth works again but, for the wifi, it is still in “no hardware found“… I have tried also the network diagnostics but it crash!...

Chosen Solution The computer is fully functional but the key board and power button do not work. I need the ribbon connector port on the logic board replaced for the key board. I screwed up the connector while I was replacing the mag safe port on the computer. I live in the Cleveland Ohio area and don’t know of any place locally that can repair this. I would be open to sending it out for above mentioned repair, or possibly an upgraded board....

Chosen Solution The left surround channel is very quiet compared to the other channels, I have checked with other speakers - it is definitely the amp channel. Any idea what to check? Your Marantz receiver has automatic speaker setup and equalization called Audyssey. It uses a microphone to measure your room and set speaker levels. If the Audyssey setup program hasn’t been run yet or if the setup procedure had measurement errors, then one or more of your speakers could have the wrong levels set by the receiver....

Chosen Solution Old iPad Air has really crappy battery. According to Coconutbatter about 8% health (new 8827mAh, current 720mAh), but so far working when connected to powerbrick. Today is just black. So I connected to Mac a try DFU mode. It connected, even able to update to 12.5 and reset to factory settings. But still black screen. Now when connect to Mac, iPad play sound but still black screen. Now the ultimate question:) Do you think it’s worth to try replace battery?...

Chosen Solution This morning my Samsung 32in curbed monitor fell and cracked under the screen (no outside damage) and that side of the screen is black. Is there a way to fix this without paying bcuz it could just be a technical issue even though I fought that. You likely cracked the lcd (liquid crystal display). Unfortunately once the liquid is out, there’s no easy fix and you’ll have to replace the display....

My phone needs to restore and update but the problem i cant log in to itunes because i need to unlock my phone so that itunes can connect to my phone. the other problem is i can’t unlock my phone because my screen and home button are both not working. You should be able to overcome the display handicap by booting it into DFU mode (since you mentioned you wanted to restore it anyway) but with that broken home button I have no idea how to do it....

Chosen Solution Does anyone have a way to bypass AST 2 from Apple when replacing non OEM battery in newer model Iphones You’ll need to swap the original BMS board from the old battery. You might be able to order a replacement battery from apple’s self service repair site. I just replaced my gf’s dad’s 12 pro max battery with an OEM and it worked great!

Chosen Solution I accidentally stepped on my Surface Pro 4, and one of the hinges on the kickstand broke. Rather than replacing the entire device (I do have a warranty) I would rather try to fix it myself. The left friction hinge still works fine, but is not strong enough to hold the device alone. The kickstand itself is not cracked and would not need any replacement, only the right hinge is damaged....
