Chosen Solution Where can I get pentalob drivers for Bose Sound Revolve + Hi Here’s a link to a tool kit that contains many different sizes of pentalobe Mako Driver Kit - 64 Precision Bits If you know the exact size of pentalobe you could find it in the ifixit store As for reviving your device,it is very possible but you will need to work fast,with water damage every second counts Once you have it open the best thing you can do is disconnect the battery Then fully disassemble the device and clean any corrosion (corrosion looks like green blue and white stuff)away with isopropyl alcohol Once fully cleaned and dried reassemble and test,if it doesn’t work and you are uncomfortable doing board level repair I recommend you take it to a repair shop that specialises is these sorts of repairs Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)

Chosen Solution Yesterday, I made a stupid mistake and spilled some milk + soggy bran flakes onto my computer. (A Lenovo 100s Chromebook.) Most of it went onto the keyboard; I got paper towels right away and wiped it up. I wiped the surface of the keyboard, giving extra attention to the little crevices around the keys where they’re set into the computer; I did not remove any of the keys or disassemble any part of the computer (I don’t know how to)....

Chosen Solution So my 3DS will give me an error message that forces me to turn it off and then back on, only to (immediately or after a couple seconds) give me the same message. Popping out the battery for a bit seems to help, but sometimes it doesn’t work. Help? Also, I can’t get it repaired because my warranty has ended. Chosen Solution So I broke the bezel along the base of my screen and bought a replacement one. In the process of scraping it off, I think I have applied too much pressure to the little orange connectors into the screen (the one farmost right or possible something else in the vicinity) and seemingly killed vertical lines of pixels in the far right portion of the screen (see attached image)....

Chosen Solution I can’t find k20V in the list of phones but Verizon describe the k20plus as an upgrade and it seems the same size. Are the screens the same? I simply need to replace the screen. thx I believe the Verizon model is LG VS501, which the same as the TP260 and MP260 models as well. The screens are the same.

Chosen Solution Hi, The computer’s battery is not charging, as described in the picture: The magsafe connector has no light indicating its operation. I used another connector to test if the problem was in the cable, which is not the case, the other connector also had no light, and in the same way as the previous one I could make the computer work but not charge the battery. The battery is new, I changed it after I got a message that the old battery needed to be changed....

Chosen Solution beeps two times continually and wont start Hi 2 Beeps indicates Ram is not detected. It could mean your ram sticks are bad or possibly its a board level issue try replacing the ram . If not you most likley will need to replace the board. Without knowing the exact model number I can only guess, but two beeps sometimes means there’s a RAM issue, try re-seating the RAM, by removing the stick/s and putting them back in again, making sure to remove your battery first....

Chosen Solution I’ve taken off some keys on my laptop to see which style keys my laptop has so that I can purchase replacements for worn-out keys. After noticing how dirty one was, I took off some more to clean. In doing this, one of the rubber cups making the contact and triggering the keypress was loose and came off. I was able to refit all keys successfully except the key in question....

Chosen Solution Hi all, as title explains. My Samsung S6 camera has permanent black dots on the screen. Only when camera app is on though. You take pictures and it shows up on the pictures. I cleaned the lens area with an alcohol wipe without realising the lens glass circle had fell off previous, so was cleaning the lens and the camera. After cleaning the camera and lens with a cotton bud the dots were still there, giving me the conclusion the camera was damaged and needed a new one……plus a new lens cover lol....

Chosen Solution I’ve just replaced my cracked iPhone 6 plus lcd/digitizer assembly and now there are blue and green marks showing around the edges of the screen. its only particularly noticable when the device is displaying a dark image. the blue green marks are the type you see if you were to push on your screen too hard with your finger and are appearing around where the screws affix the metal backplate to the screen assembly, and a slight green tint in the bottom right corner (also near a screw)....

Getting a blue screen on 5s is caused by mixing up the screws on the sheild that hold down the screen cables.. You have put a long screw were a short screw was suppose til go resulting in it tearing traces below the screw hole I had to early today but solved it....

Chosen Solution I accidentally ordered a ipad2 glass/digitizer and found out the IPad is actually a generation 4. Can I still use it on the 4gen? No you cannot. Ipad 4 is a 264ppi display and the old Ipad 2 is a 132ppi display. The connectors and density are different.
