Chosen Solution This question was asked and the answer didn’t solve my problem thus asking it again. I got this Mac (A1342) from a friend who was told by the local Apple Store that the ‘battery was swollen’ and should be replaced. It will not turn on or charge. Simply dead. My first thought was the battery thus I have checked and OEM batteries are not available. Not sure if iFixIt non-OEM batteries will sustain the unit....

First do a bunch of network resets and see if that works. If not read on… Wifi greyed out and no Bluetooth points to bad chip.Cold drops could have caused the chip to go bad.Nothing you do, e.g. look for a missing screw, ground the phone better, take off wifi antennae, will fix it....
Chosen Solution One of the fans didn’t work, so I bought a new one and tried to replace it myself. After disassembly and reassembly (which was hard enough due to a broken screw), my laptop only works when the battery is unplugged. (Via AC) When the battery is plugged, I get 3 red blinks next to the power button and nothing happens afterwards. Both fans seem to work, WIFI, speaker, keyboard worked all....
Chosen Solution I have replaced the screen on my iPhone 6, everything works fine except for the home button function, i just doesn’t work, but touch ID is working perfectly. Does somebody knows how to solve this? :( To find out this problem you can try this step try replace a wiring lcd back metal plate the connected to the home buttons, if still same remove the home button and carefully remove the home back two small plate which take click clean it and put it bank and check
Chosen Solution I recently replaced my screen for my iphone 6s but the screen is black. I did not remove the battery when replacing it but i did shut the phone off. I did notice a small puff of smoke coming out those ribbon cables when connecting the 3 cables back to the actual phone. I tried to put the old screen back but that did not work either, is there anything i can do to fix this?...
Chosen Solution i turn phone on and the event logo comes on then the virgin mobile screen comes on then it goes black and then back to the event logo it loops over and over but never goes to the main start up screen This could help you but this will remove all your saved data and media from your phone. Turn it off and then hold Volume Down and Start the phone, keep holding the the buttons....

Chosen Solution My screen automatically enters power save mode and turns black. I have tried all recommendations of turning off computer etc and moving mouse etc Update (05/28/2018) It does not turn on when you move the mouse or enter. Chosen Solution Hi, I got a Magnavox 40in LCD TV (40MF401B/F7) with a display problem. When I press the power button, the tv turns on and lights up and the words “DIGITAL TELEVISION” are displayed, then the screen goes dark. Picture is visible when a light is shined into the screen and sound plays fine. Problem persists on HDMI and Component inputs with different devices. Vertical black lines also sometimes appear within the picture and did so before the screen stopped working....
Chosen Solution My GP hero4 has a little issue. The battery door ha two tiny screws in it which mean to hold the door on its place. These screws popped out and the plastic lid of the door has fallen off the cameras’ body. There is no sign of external damage whatsoever. I was wondering whether this problem could be solved somehow as in the repair shop where I took it told that they cannot repair it....
Chosen Solution I had a Lifeproof case fail on me while at a water park (a bit frustrating as its less than eight months old) and there appears to be very little water that ever got in the phone (mostly around the sim tray and the home button)… Replacing the battery is listed as a must regardless of how much actually got on/in the battery area. Do I need to replace the battery immediately because of potential issues or can I use the battery (less than two weeks old unfortunately) to test the rest of the phone (I hate to throw money at a dead phone if I don’t need to) and then buy a new one if it works?...

It ran through the top and was very little? robhansell first off you should tell us what amp this is. second, disassemble it and take a look at any obvious damage. You do need to clean the circuit board etc. with some high grade isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush....

It is a TCL TV so my suspicion automatically go toward a bad backlight array....

Chosen Solution My printer was working fine yesterday. In the middle of printing several pages the ink started getting lighter and faded completely away over 3- 4 pages. I have update the software and replaced the black cartridge and the other colors are full. The little sponge is full of black ink and looks like it has leaked out.
