The Apple replacements are way over my budget. Apple is known for their excellent IPS monitors, so it’s very hard to come close to Apple color accuracy without buying a high end display. If you can pull it off, look at either an IPS Dell Ultrasharp or HP Z monitor*....

Chosen Solution What hooks up in the two black and red L and R spots Kenny Bradford red and black is usually pos and neg for a speaker which would correspond with the L and R. If you are referring to the “Line Level in” connectors, that would be where you can connect the subwoofer to. Of course until we can see what you see, this is only an assumption.

I’ve seen the fix around the internet involving removing the battery and holding the power butter to discharge static buildup, but I don’t think my computer has a removable battery. Chosen Solution I just installed a replacement WiFi/Bluetooth card I got from iFixit into my late-2012 27" iMac and Bluetooth is not working. WiFi works fine. Could I have installed it wrong or is it likely there is an issue with the replacement? Any troubleshooting suggestions? Chosen Solution Hi Friends, I’m super frustrated as I have a key which needs replacing on a Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro 11” 2nd gen. The key is “}]”, the plastic hinge piece of the key broke. Unfortunately, Apple said they would need to replace the entire unit to fix the one key which would cost $200+. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement part for it? Chosen Solution Hi There . I broke the small cable for the keyboard backlight while replacing the Ram. The back light obviously doesnt work anymore, which is fine for me. I was wondering if it will cause other complications? It won’t. But make sure you remove the cable’s broken part from the logic board connector to prevent any damage to the LB in the future as well as the other part of the ribbon cable must not touch the logic board....

Chosen Solution I accidently set my Olympus Evolt E520 camera down on the LCD screen against a hard surface and cracked the screen . When I turn on the camera, only a bright light appears in the LCD screen area. The menu is not visible, no picture shows up after pressing the shutter release. The question I have, is this fixable and is it cost effective to do so. I have also been having some focus problems before this accident....

Chosen Solution This iPhone 5s had water damage and would not boot. Only showed the apple logo and then shut off again. I did a tear down and cleaned everything with isopropyl alcohol. When reassembled, it was still doing the same thing. I then decided to try restoring in recovery mode (and later went with DFU mode). the phone gets almost done with restore and then crashes. iTunes then gives me the “error 16” message....

Chosen Solution The hinge on the right side of my Bose Quiet Comfort 35 is broken. I’ve barely used these due to the lock down, but with warranty expired the only option on offer is a $300 replacement pair :) Can I source and replace the right side hinge between headband and earpiece? Chosen Solution My battery compartment on my Canon Powershot A720 no longer closes completely. I think I broke the pins(?) that keep it closed. Can it be replaced/fixed? A replacement battery cover can be found on eBay. Alternatively, you could keep it closed using tape or velcro.

Chosen Solution I installed an iFixit battery a while ago and after install it wasn’t calibrated. I remember looking up the classic steps (I followed these instructions) and performing it twice or maybe even three times. After the computer went into sleep automatically and the charger was still disconnected, I left the computer in this state overnight, so even more than 5 hours. So I tried a couple of times doing the same thing but the problem persists....

But for some reason it will not run right, if you give it gas it sputters like it’s misfiring or getting to much fuel or not enough and you hardly have any power. I have put everything new on it new distributor rotor button new plugs and wires new TPS sensor new throttle body, new idle air control valve, new temp sensor, new stock injectors, new fuel pump, new fuel pump regulator it don’t have a gauge on it but it’s new....

I did just end up sending it to Nintendo (I didn’t know about ifixit) but I think it could be the LCD screens....

So I replaced all suspect parts, solenoid, carb, micro switch, fuses, I even replaced the gas petal. I made a little progress because now there is a clicking when I press gas but other than that it won’t start....

To fix it, I just purchased a replacement for all flat cables such as keyboard and trackpad, LCD, audio, power and replaced all flats cables with care, The Issue not resolved, so I purchased a replacement trackpad and keyboard and replaced them carefully, But the issue is still not resolved....
