Can I tape the flap back on while the ribbon cable is in? @brododragon You could try and see if it will work. The lock is what a. secures the cables and b. puts pressure on the top pins to connect to the cable. Without the lock, your connector may not make proper contact with the cable....
Chosen Solution Hey all! So today I was simply reseating the LCD connectors because there was some screen glitchiness… and it worked! However, something went wrong with the front camera connection, as it didnt initialize, so I opened it back up to check it. Unfortunately, when I pulled up the LCD connector at the very top (the longest one), the pin on the connector itself seems to have bent. I tried simply bending it back, but eventually, it broke off....

Your best chance to find a replacement screen panel is to find the make and model number of the screen itself and not use the TV model information to try and find it. Disconnect the power from the TV and remove the back cover from the TV and try to find the make and model of the screen printed somewhere on the back of the screen itself....

Hi @guzziguy Ifixit doesn’t have replacement screens for your model, but here’s a video that shows how to replace it. It seems that there may be a few different XE310XBA displays so either disassemble yours to check for the screen make and model number on the back of the panel and use that information to find a supplier or you could try here and check if the model information is shown for your model....

Chosen Solution Hello! Built-in speakers in my macbook work only when I plug in the 3.5mm headphone jack (with no sound in the headphones as I plug them in). As soon as I pull it out, I have no sound from the built-in speakers as well. Its like an inversion - only when headphones are plugged, built-in speakers work. I have replased the 3.5 mm port in my mac for a new one, but it did not help....

I went to access front camera and app froze and wouldn’t work and had to restart phone. Similar issue using snapchat and trying to access front camera. I had this exact same problem before after water damage but the icon in the camera app came back....

Chosen Solution Printer Epson 1280 inkjet printer ran out of color ink. Printer head will not move to left so I can remove cartridge. Hi Jim, Unplugging it and plugging it back in should reset the head. If it still isn’t accessable, you’ll have to move it with your hand. A bit crude, but it shouldn’t do any damage. Hope this helps!

Chosen Solution Hi all I have a MacBook Pro, Mid 2012, A1278 (EMC 2554). It wont turn on from the power button. Plugging the power cable in powers it up due to the Auto Power On feature. I’m also unable to turn the device off by pressing and holding the button either. The behavior makes me think the Button is at fault, however, unplugging the battery and removing the power adaptor and unplugging the keyboard then shorting the Power Pads on the motherboard also doesn’t turn the device on, This process apparently bypasses the button....

However, a lot of midrange systems today like Pentium and i3 systems will easily outperform these and can use NVMe SSDs which is not possible on these systems due to the architecture.The caveat to be aware of is the Core i3 and Pentium chips may not match fully loaded Wolfdale Core 2 Duo systems - those match up better performance wise to a nice mid-spec i3 on a budget, but preferably an i5....

Because you have to think of them as fuel tanks. Batteries have a capacity, and when you charge them you’re refilling the tank. Although, over time after several drains and refueling. The actual capacity gets smaller and smaller. So it’s charging to 100% of the very little to no capacity....
