Chosen Solution Plugged power cord from a car charger into port and the Deck shutoff. Couldn’t power it back on. Looked into other solutions to fix the problem after I got home to a solid power outlet (plugging it in for an hour then hold the power button, holding volume button and power button for X amount of seconds ect). Don’t know what I should do as of now its an expensive paperweight....

Yes It’s not working as its unable to connect, I guess some barriers are installed while upgradation. During upgrade botim it was not update then uninstall & try for reinstall. But not update
Chosen Solution My phone has been on for around 9 hours now. I go to open the camera and it isn’t working. Any answers to why this is happening? Start with the easy fixes. Have you restarted the phone? Updated software? Does your flashlight work? What about your front camera? Some history of the device may also be helpful as well before I start jumping into possible problems. But. Realistically in my experience, if the camera is just showing a black screen or crashes the app, but front facing camera seems to work, the rear camera is faulty and needs to be replaced....
Chosen Solution Hi All, As the title says - I purchased an iFixit battery replacement, as well as a new mag-safe port on my 2012 MBP Retina. The computer previously worked without issue. During the replacement process my right speaker connector pulled off the from the logic board with very little force; besides that there were no issues and everything uninstalled and reinstalled without issue. Now when I go to power on my laptop I get three slow beeps, a pause, and it repeats....

Chosen Solution I just swapped logic boards on my iPad mini. After reinstalling the screen I was surprised to see some weird black marks along the edge of the display. It wasn’t like this before, so what’s the cause for it? Is there anything that I can do? Let’s start with something simple. Could it possibly just be adhesive that was holding on the screen? I’m guessing not. I would probably venture to say that this looks like parts of the LCD have been damaged....

The phone powered up fine, everything was working except for the proximity thing (when I made calls and held the phone up to my face, the screen didn’t turn off like it usually did). Chosen Solution So I have an iPhone X that was dropped in a sink full of water a couple days ago. It worked for about 10 minutes or so then it turned off. I’ve tried cleaning the motherboard in an ultrasonic cleaner a couple times for about 5-10 minutes total and I baked the phone afterwards for about 10 minutes. Now when I turn it on it is bootlooping. For a brief second when I connected the charger it gave the charging icon the immediately went back to bootlooping....

Took apart snapped off plug not having seen the inside, I can’t say much, but it’s probably a fairly standard connector soldered to the mainboard. depending on what broke it may be possible to re-solder it, or you may need to replace the jack too. If you don’t have the soldering skills to do this yourself, you may be able to find a local shop that will do it for you....

Chosen Solution Hi, looking at purchasing very cheaply ($50au) a sm-t290 with a cracked screen. The glass is available from ebay for about $25au. I rang around for quotes as i expected it to be not economical to repair vs buying a new unit, and i was right, however, one store said this model the glass can’t be separated from the lcd, it must be replaced together, making it not economical to even do myself....

Chosen Solution So apparently, this mac is famous for its upgrades, namely, the SSD replacement, optical drive swap, 16 GB of ram and stuff. However, Im stuck trying to find a solution to the Nvdia GeForce GT 330 512 MB it has. Chosen Solution Disc is inserted in the drive; it reads but keeps ejecting and inserting by itself, non-stop? Hi @fixthejunks , Does the relative live in the same location as you? Not being nosey but according to this link the player will reject the disc (although not reinsert it again) if the disc is not from the same “region” as the player. Just a thought on this one and an easy one to eliminate if it is the case....
