Chosen Solution I have a 13in MacBookPro. The keyboard is dying, and it needs to be replaced. Chosen Solution I have torn down my LG curved OLED tv but I am a MechE with a focus in electrical engineering - not a full blow Electrical Engr. I did not want to risk damaging the system but did notice the main components including a Bluetooth/wifi module at the bottom right (bottom left if looking straight at the tv while it’s assembled) along with a heatsink protecting the main inputs (HDMI, usb etc), and three main boards with an I/O setup at the bottom for the IR receiver....

Chosen Solution Recap: Acer Laptop won’t turn on , AC Lamp is off even while the laptop is plugged in, it only turns on for like 1 sec when I press the power button while plugged in then turns off , BUT the Battery power lamp is blue while plugged in. Chosen Solution I am replacing the two iPhone 5 interconnect cables and there are suppose to be adhered to each other. What type of adhesive (conducting or non-conducting) should be used to glue the two interconnect cables together? The two interconnecting cables do not need to be connected. You can use a very small piece of double sided tape, but not necessary.

Chosen Solution Bought a Asus EP121 slate, however had a problem, the backlight does not work screen. I thought it might be the flex cable as countless similar cases, but nothing happened, so think it was the screen, bought a screen and replaces, but the problem persists, what else can it be ?! thank you. I had the same issue.. bought a new screen from China (since thats where theyre originally made and where ASUS gets them) and if I remember correctly it didnt work....

Chosen Solution I just installed a new battery into my MacBook Air and after screwing everything in and rebooting, the battery icon isn’t present in the status bar and if I remove the adapter the computer shuts down. I reset the SMC and PRAM and no success. Should I reopen it and if so what should I look to do? Update (03/15/2018) Here it is - does this mean I should reopen it?...

Chosen Solution Laptop was working fine, opened to use it and can hear the fan but screen is black. I tried power off and back on, still nothing. Any ideas? Unplug it, Remove the battery, Hold the power button down for 30 seconds, Put the battery back, plug it in, try the power button. I have the same problem. The screen goes blank as soon as Windows starts loading. The issue is the graphics adaptor driver, and Lenovo tech support says there is no fix yet....

Chosen Solution Just happened a couple hours ago, screen randomly went black. Tried force restarting, didn’t do anything. I got home and plugged it in and the removable disk popped up in Windows (didn’t show any files though I think because its passcode locked on restart?). I can start the phone (power button) and then shut down (power+home) and watch it pop on and off on windows and itunes, so the power is definitely working....

Chosen Solution So i change the front panel of my Iphone 6s. But the touch diden’t work and when i change back to my old screen now suddenly the screen is black (but the phone works since it’s responding to the charger or vibrates when use the silent button.). Does enyone know what the problem might be? did i damage some cords or something? I change it back and forth a few times and i get the exact same problems all the time...

Chosen Solution I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro. I was having problems with the speakers sounding distorted and I read online about a fix you can do with rubber cement. I followed a guide on iFixit’s website and put the glue on the speakers as I saw others do online. I waited a few hours and put the computer back together. At first it seemed like it worked, the speakers sounded great and I had no issues....

Chosen Solution Have similar case on my Samsung TV model UE40F6670SBXXU , blank picture but sometimes showed bad colour n is talking. sokefun gbenga albert if it sometimes shows you a bad picture (poor quality) but keeps sound then the issue is most likely a bad T-con board (Samsung part number is BN95-00858B or BN95-00858A depending on version of what is in your TV). We really would need to see what your TV shows and what the boards looks like....

Chosen Solution Hi, really hope someone can help me. I have read a lot of other questions relating to this on here but none quite the same (I don’t think). My screen smashed on my iPhone 6 so I have replaced it. I swapped all the parts to the new screen, plugged in all the connectors and turned it on to test it. I must say at this point, I did not replace the shield yet so this can not be long screw damage....

Chosen Solution Currently answering for a friend but, this issue came about recently during a face time call, where suddenly I couldn’t hear them on call, but I could hear a very faint bumping noise of the phone being placed on the table, and the clicks of the volume buttons? This is present when recording videos from the front and back camera too. From doing a blow in the microphone as a test, that is also picked up quite loudly....
