I did a hard restart and got the blinking question mark folder. I tried the command R and the command option r. No change. Hold during startup Shift (⇧) Start up in safe mode. Option (⌥) Start up to Startup Manager, which allows you to choose other startup disks, if available....
Chosen Solution I’ve successfully replaced the screen of my iPhone SE 2020 after it was cracked. Everything works fine except the camera. The battery was disconnected before I started working on it. I have a feeling it could be from when I transferred the camera from the old screen to the new one. Any ideas? Disconnect the battery and check the connection to the camera and make sure the pins are not damaged or bent....
Chosen Solution So, the classic iPod Touch in the cat’s water bowl trick…it’s a corker! I bought a new screen (color display) for this 8GB 1st gen. and installed it, but there is still no light. I can see what’s on the display if used under a very bright light, but both old and new screens have no backlight. What other part might I need? I was really excited to see it spring back to (full) life with the new screen, but was sorely disappointed....

Chosen Solution In this step, the front-facing camera and sensor cable are disconnected. I would like to know if the front camera is able to function without this cable being connected. I would like to disable my front camera. In my opinion it is stupid to disable the camera for “privacy” reasons. You are not that important and if people really want to screw you, they’d do it through your mic, not your camera....
Chosen Solution Hi i just wanted to know if its possible to change from a retina display to a 1080P screen on this laptop since my retina display was shattered and i dont wanna pay for a full retina display and would rather go for a cheaper 1080p option Sorry, it’s not possible. You would need to go back to a 2012 machine to use that display. It’s also not a bad idea because a 2012 with an SSD is repairable and upgradable....

Though it’s as easy as with a regular PC. But iFixIt has a guide here! BUT make sure you get a card that’s compatible with the iMac. A generic graphics card for a PC won’t work! The best way is to get a used one on eBay or elsewhere taken from a newer Mac, as the guide writer did....

The problem is it doesn’t work if the usb cable is unplugged which defeats the purpose of it being a wireless mouse. what could be the problem? It seems to work pretty well after being cleaned up, however I’ve noticed that the backlit keyboard light is almost always on, except when the overhead lighting is really, really bright.
