Chosen Solution When replacing the LCD in a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7", there is some adhesive gluing it to the back of the frame. Where can I get some of this? Some of my repairs have the top of the touchscreen not flush with the metal frame on top and I think its because of the lack of adhesive behind the LCD that isn’t keeping it down tight enough. The tablet works but the one I repaired today has the touchscreen loose at the bottom....

Chosen Solution I replaced the complete display panel assembly and battery in my daughters iPhone 5S. Everything went pretty smooth with repair. During reassembly, I did have some trouble getting the inner most connection for the display assembly to properly seat, but I felt I had all three proper seated before I reinstalled the cover plate. After reassembly, I restarted the with a “hard reboot” and everything appeared to be fined....

Chosen Solution I had warranty to come and look at my 58’’ TV UN58TU6900PXPA and they said they had to replace the LCD panel, however the replacement part is not available and they ended up refunding me for the device, but now I have a dead device on my house and I dont believe their diagnose. The issue began with some strange horizontal lines on the top quarter of the screen, then the TV began to reboot itself, while showing still image....

Chosen Solution So I replaced older battery with a new battery and after the install I noticed that the trackpad wan’t functioning properly as it once did. It’s annoying to use and I was looking for a solution to fixing this issue without having to get another battery that may or may not fix the problem. This is the most common problem with a swollen battery. Ergo I would open it up and look....

Chosen Solution Hello. Recently got an iPhone 5s in my hands with a really weak battery so decided to replace it and give the phone another life. After the replacement battery is stuck at 1% and after few seconds of use the phone would turn off. At the same time if I connect it to power source the battery jumps straight to 100% and stays even if I disconnect the cable but would turn off anyway after some seconds....

Chosen Solution My Phone previously was conecting fine with my car bluetooth/portable speakers etc. Now out of nowhere it is unable to find any bluetooth devices(I made sure blurtooth was on and scanning) My other device are working properly because it still connects to other phones. Chosen Solution Hi, I’ got some old airpods for free. But If try to connect with both airpods in the case it wont work, and the light is blinking orange, all the time, even when I press the “reset” button. But if I remove one airpod and press the “reset” button, I found it on my mobile. One with some name like “xxx airpods”, if I do the same with the other in the case it founds that one with some strange name, like “3xsdfjsdf jsdflk sdfsd… " and on my mobile I can choose between them, but only one at time will work....

Chosen Solution While changing the fan in my Apple Time Capsule, I broke the connector for the status light. Is there a possible way to repair this connector where the 3 cables clip in? see picture attached. Sadly, without a second one to trace out the lines it won’t be easy! Maybe you can find someone with one that can identify the lines function. Apple never offered any schematics for their AirPorts or Time Capsules and the service guides don’t dig into explaining what the discreet wires within the harness does or connects to....

Chosen Solution Coworker brought in his wife’s iPhone 12 that was having issues with the screen being super dim randomly after it boots. Figure it’s probably the ambient light sensor and sure enough find the tiniest spot of patina on one of the contact points on the back of the display where a drop of water got in (trying to explain to people that’s enough to kill something is a struggle though) I’m not interested in fussing around with transferring components over to a new flex to keep Face ID (because reasons) so he’s just getting a Self Repair display and I’m going to do it for him since his wife wants to make sure Face ID stays intact....

Chosen Solution I am not home most of the time since I got college so I was wondering if it’s ok for me to just leave the JBL extreme plugged into the adapter to charge since I have a tendency to forget to unplug it whenever I go out. Not fully recommended, because the lithium ion battery will get worn down and in some rare occasions eventually get hot enough to flame up (if left plugged in for a long long time and the wrong charger gets used)...

Chosen Solution The phone has been out for a little while now , cracked it back in may and then looked for a screen couldn’t find any from any brand I Trust, and then gave up. I repeated this cycle again in July and then now in October. I can’t be the only one with one of these phones , where are the screens? Chosen Solution I haven’t used the machine that often, the last time I tried to prime it the motor goes but does not draw up the water, maybe an air pocket in the line? You can use a turkey baster/ear bulb/etc to force-prime the pump; often they get airlocked when sitting for a long time. Fill the bulb with water and fit it into the water intake hose, then with the pump running squeeze the bulb to force the water in....

Chosen Solution I accidentally put a 12v power supply into my USB Hub wich was connected to my MBP 13" (late 2011). Both USB ports are now unusable. Any chance to fix this without getting a new logic board? Best regards. Maybe you might! It’s some work, but there are fuse links on the USB power feed lines so you might be able to save the logic board. I should point out these are SMT components so you do need to have good soldering skills and will need to use a meter to measure the voltages....

Chosen Solution could the coil be causing it? Most likely no. Ate you putting the paste behind the ignition module. You need to put it around the whole back of the part all the way to the edge and an even amount. This is what causes them to fail because they won’t cool.
