Chosen Solution I thought the battery went bad so I got a new one. Charged it fully before putting it in camera. Power light stays on for a second then goes back off. So I tried the cord for USB & pc thinking charger went bad. I got to see pictures I took but camera still didn’t turn on. I tried taking the battery out and holding down power button. Still no luck (even took the sd card out and tried again)....
Chosen Solution How do I change the processor? Hi, You can try changing the CPU to improve performance but it won’t improve it that much. The laptop only supports a maximum of 4GB PC3-8500 200 pin SODIMM ram and even though Win 10 will work with this amount of ram it works a lot better with 8GB. The CPU is a Socket-P µFCPGA type but you may have to check what chipset is used to make sure that you get a compatible CPU if you decide to upgrade....
Chosen Solution I’ve got some old etch-a-sketches that have areas of the screen where lines disappear, or are so faint they are almost impossible to see. They have been sitting on a shelf for more than 15 years, being used only once or twice. We tried lots of shaking, turned the knobs, but nothing works. Any suggestions? I hate to throw them out. Spirhit the batteries that iFixit sells are build to the same, if not better standards, as the original. There is no reason that your phone will continue to charge in exactly the same way as it did before. Like @strongbow already mentioned, if in doubt contact iFixit directly on here...
Chosen Solution Recently i replaced my top screen. Bottom screen worked fine before replacement. The screen can tell something is there but it remains black. Not sure which ribbon controlls bottom display. They look like they are in there fine. Side note: I ripped my camera ribbon and its no longer hooked up, not sure that has anything to do with my problem. Hello, I have had this problem in the past....

The one you think of as “regular” USB is technically called USB Type A. Type B is the square kind that typically plugs into a printer. Then there are the Mini and Micro connectors, which have similar pins to the Type A connector, and finally the newest is the Type C connector, which adds a bunch of new pins and can be plugged in either up or down....
Chosen Solution After replacing a CPU cooler, the unit powers on and then immediately shuts down. The LED on the Z270E is turned on and I am not sure where to start. When it shuts down, the LED is still on and none of the board LED error indicators turn on. I presume that there’s nothing wrong with the CPU. Any clues? When I boot up using Command +R the drive does not show up in Disk Utility. When I boot up in Command Option +R it does show up. I formatted the drive using Command Option +R but it will not allow me to use Time machine to restore the original drive to the new drive....

Chosen Solution So I recently got myself a iBook indigo 366mhz firewire and apart from the battery being dead it was working flawless. But the thing is it came preloaded with software (OS9) and I wanted a clean install so I went to MacOS9Lives and downloaded their 9.2.2 universal iso http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php… It booted fine I managed to reformat the HDD and was installing OS9 and everything seemed alright… But then the screen started to flicker and the laptop died… I restarted it but only got a blank screen… It’s not black or white but a pale shade of blue and it won’t show the boot selection screen neither show a blinking folder just blank… CD still sounds like it’s booting holding the C key but screen won’t change - always that pale shade of blue… Anyone has any hints on what could be wrong here…?...
