Chosen Solution Hello, Have some laptops that I am trying to test and I have ran into a problem. The laptop will power on but I get no picture on the screen. I have tried hooking up to an external monitor and I have also replaced RAM with known working. I have also discharged battery. I have called some different placed, and everyone says that it will be my motherboard. I was just wondering if there was a way to test the LCD on a different motherboard or not....

Chosen Solution When I connect an external speaker via Bluetooth, the music stops coming out of the Dot. I want music out of the dot AND the Bluetooth speaker. You will have to choose one or the other, both will not work simultaneously. You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars for good, Dot-savvy sound. Chosen Solution Both of the USB C ports on my laptop no longer have a solid connection when I plug in my charger. The charger used to have a “click” when I plugged it in, and now it doesn’t do that and the cable seems loose. I can’t get a steady charge from the cable on either port. Chosen Solution Hi my propellor completely fell out of the motor and it will go back in but it just falls back out According to the manual there suppose to be a screw to hold the prop in place.

Chosen Solution The usb c port on my switch lite is broken. If anyone can tell me if the OG switch and switch lite use same type of usb C port. I am going to attempt to replace it. The short answer is: they’re different. The only real difference is the length of the port so I would suggest looking for an OEM or 3rd party Switch Lite port. It is a common this to fail so there are plenty of replacement options out there....

Chosen Solution Can anyone tell me where this goes?? I think it goes in the disk drive but not sure exactly where? For my ps4 I think that comes from the manual ejection part of the drive at one of the corners of the Bluray drive. I don’t think it’s required unless you are going to use that.

Chosen Solution I have many cracks and scratches on screen which appears to be a cover screen, can I replace it by peeling off the old one? @maryflamingo , Mary, If it is just one of those aftermarket screen protectors then yes you can peel it off. If it is the actual digitizer for under twenty dollars you may want to consider replacing the whole screen assy. 1st Link below shows how to disassemble the phone to enable replacement of the screen assy....

Chosen Solution Can I replace the Mini DisplaPort of my MBA or the whole Circuit Board. In this model its called a Thunderbolt port. Sorry to say you’ll need to replace the logic board or find someone with the skills & tools to do the needed micro-soldering which would be repaired to replace the connector, that is if the logic board is not damaged.

Chosen Solution i had a damaged iPhone 6 screen (cracked) that i figured id repair now that i bought myself the X, the issue is, after replacing the screen, i found that there was a dead section running vertically from top to bottom in the middle of the screen,(if you pull your keyboard up on your phone, this line of unresponsivenes runs over the b key from top to bottom) anyway i figured it may have been a dud screen, so instead of transferring components, i bought an entire replacement front assembly from a different manufacturer (camera, screen, digitizer etc etc....

Chosen Solution While playing Alpha Sapphire, my 3ds suddenly shut off and wouldn’t turn on again. The LED turns blue and stays that way, but the screens don’t show anything and no sound plays. It charges at times but, as far as I can tell, that changes nothing Kill the battery then power cycle the 3DS, let it sit for like 20 minutes with no juice then try charging. If that doesn’t work try opening and closing it a few times trying to see if the 3DS thinks its in sleep mode....

Chosen Solution So I’ve done a thorough amount of background research to little to no avail on this topic. Basically this is what’s going on: the AC adapter functions perfectly normal at first then over a series of months the pin out and power port on the laptop gets extremely hot under load eventually the pin stops charging the laptop correctly without being angled in and after that it’ll stop working entirely....

Chosen Solution Hi There, I was looking to replace my ear cups but I figured I might also wan’t to fix an annoying issue I “fixed” with gorilla glue and make the headphones a little nicer. I had dropped the headphones multiple times, resulting in the slider on one side being unable to close fully/lock in place. See attached photo. My question is: is the slider part of the headband? I see that headbands can be replaced relatively easily and if that would fix my problem then I will do it....

Chosen Solution Computer wants administrator password or power on password @sentenall you could try to tap away at F11 as soon as you press the power button. This should launch Recovery Manager. From there, just follow the on-screen prompts to reset your laptop to the factory condition. If you got a halt code let us know what that code is.

Chosen Solution So I recently got a new laptop battery from iFixit (an aftermarket battery, since the OEM ones were out of stock) and was able to replace it. I charged the laptop to 100% & left it plugged in overnight, and then when I was draining the battery, my laptop ended up completely shutting off with no warning when my battery showed 40%. Plugged it in, turned it back on, the battery percent showed 1%, so I charged it back to 100% again – I actually witnessed the battery percentage jump from 60% to 100% during this charge....
