Chosen Solution Both caps on the high voltage side are blown. PCB markings MOV301 and TH301. At least I suspect they are both capacitors… hard to see since they are burned out… does anyone know what to order and replace with? First of all these are not capacitors. The one marked MOV301 is a Metal oxide Varistor and the one marked TH301 is a thermistor. These are both protection devices. If they are defective, than there is probably something else wrong with the unit that caused these to fail....

Chosen Solution The hinge for my monitor broke a screw connection to my wrist plate, and has now basically broken off from the PCB itself. In the process of opening the bottom plate, the WLAN cables came off. I already disconnected the battery and took out the WLAN module just in case anything happens. Is there a way to fix the hinge or at least put it together to be useable again?...

Chosen Solution Previously my iMac Built-in display randomly went black but once restarted, worked fine. Now mostly stays black except occasionally it displays perfectly at the startup but goes black in approx. 10-30 secs and sometimes it randomly displays perfectly for about 2-3 secs while I am using it. I now use an external monitor and works perfectly fine. Recently my local apple repair shop as part of diagnostic process, replaced the LCD panel with another working used LCD panel from Late 2009 model and it worked fine....

Chosen Solution My screen cracked but the lcd is fine, I was wondering if the lcd can be removed from the digitizer or is it glued on? iPad Pro 9.7” has fused display - LCD screen and digitizer are bonded by OCA adhesive, you need special tools to separate and replace cracked glass. Just go for the LCD/digitizer assembly, it’s easier and faster for DIY repair.

I believe for your LG Optimus model you would have to open up the back panel and check for the SIM card right above the battery slot of the cellular device....

Chosen Solution I accidentally bended my aluminium top of my MacBook Pro 2017 13 inch and in the store they told me I would have to replace the display if I want it fixed. The actuator is located behind the dash between the radio and the airbag towards the firewall. To replace it, you would have to literally remove the complete dash and disconnect passenger side air bag in order to replace....

Chosen Solution Alright so here’s the story. One day a friend of mine had his PS4 fan being completely silent. I recommend him that he replace it. In the end I replaced it for him but when I was disassembling his PS4 I had to disconnect the disk drive, it was pretty much tight as !&&* and I was stupid because I didn’t know I was actually pulling the port off the motherboard, I pretty much yanked the port and it’s completely disconnected off the motherboard....

It happens when I start a Youtube video, but I’ve also tested if it does the same with videos or wav/mp3’s on the harddrive and it does. So it’s not streaming related or browser. Chosen Solution I use an old iPod touch (iOS 6.1.6 and stuck with it) for listening to music and also writing short stories in the Notes app on ocassion. I regularly email the texts to myself but I update the stories more often than I send these emails. Chosen Solution battery only charges if its removed and then reinstalled into the phone ( wall charging) ordered a replacement battery and it does the same thing . But replacement was supposed to be new but has a manufacturer date of Jan. 2015 bad battery or phone Thank You Have you tried other chargers? It sounds like you are having some type of grounding issue. The manufacture date is probably correct as the G3 is a very old phone and not produced anymore....

Chosen Solution My daughter threw my iPhone 5S at the wall and it cracked the LCD only and bent the frame pretty bad. I installed a new screen from iCracked and it wouldn’t work properly. I popped it back out of the frame and it worked ok so the frame is putting too much pressure on the LCD for the touch to work correctly. I bent the frame back as much as I could and it’s straight now but the touchscreen is still acting weird....
