Chosen Solution compaq presario cq42 I plugged in the laptop to another monitor since it would not recognize the main display, during boot, it shows red lines across the whole display and right after boot there are lines across the whole display and could only run on 16 colors (not the monitor fault, i tested it with another laptop) after downloading the video drivers, i rebooted and got the blue screen saying: attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed, then the laptop restart by itself but the laptop backlight is on and the external monitor shows it stuck on the compaq boot screen (but without the logo and any text)....

Hi @knl , According to this website a 2 beep error code is a RAM failure. Try removing/replacing the memory modules and test if the laptops starts OK. Don’t know your laptop but if you have more than 1 module try starting the laptop with only 1 module inserted and see if it works....
Chosen Solution my iPhone screen flickers at bottom when brightness increases (auto/manual). The more the brightness, more the flickering area goes up. When I lower the brightness to approx 50%, the flickering foes away (may be is goes down enough to be visible) Any quick solutions? I have heard of this before occurring in iPhone 5s and 6’s. Built-in speakers only work when the headphones are half way in, if I plug them all the way headphones only work in one side and I hear something like interference I guess. It is the original cable and logic board which I removed to clean after water damage. I think I got the antenna connected a couple of times but it just pops back out. What should I do? Chosen Solution I run a small repair shop and have noticed that, in the last six months or so, I have seen about 10 different 13” 2016/2017 Macbook Pro’s with defective RAM. Both the touchbar and function keys model. Have others seen the same? Is this yet another “gate” that plagues these models? Chosen Solution Trying to help wife’s friend with her 2-1/2 year-old, 50” LG television… TV powers on and seems to work, with sound, etc. The screen constantly flickers off and on, regardless of the input or any changes in the menu. All of the LEDs flash off and on together in complete synchronization, every 1300ms. While they are on, the screen is visible and you can see the menu and other elements very clearly....
